Warung Babi Guling Mika — Restaurant in Bali

It was lunch after visiting Bali Zoo, it's near Bali Zoo, it was not fancy resto, but you can see some crowd (cars, motorcycles parking nearby) , I guessed their lawar or spicy chili vegetable condiments that makes them special (well, almost all pork rice 'warung' at Gianyar's area will be like this one). I just went where the crowd was:p It was good, we ordered 2 adult portion, 1 kid portion and additional 1 portion of meat and skin, just perfect for lunch after having quite many snacks and gelato at the zoo.. Aah and the Price was acceptable, all those with beverages only Rp150rb an (note that this was local tourists' price...

Nice food but prices were kind of ridiculous. Presumably we got ripped off for being tourists because we got charged 210k for 2 babi gulings, two es tehs and two bintangs. Checked online after for the prices and the pork and teh would have come out to about 60-70k, so unless the beers were 70k each it seems a bit ridiculous.

Like I said, the food is really nice but the mark up left a sour taste in our mouths. I don't mind paying more than locals but double? If that doesn't bother you as much...

One of the best local original taste babi guling in Bali. The place is located roadside on the way to Ubud. Making it a good stopover during your journey. Parking is plenty just on the side of the road. The first thing you see when you enter the restaurant is the Babi Guling displayed on the counter, brings confidence that such a small stall can finish a pig a day.
