got hungry on our way back to hotel from Tanah Lot. asked the driver for a good local restaurant nearby. not sure if he got 'commission' from the restaurant for bringing us to them but i really don't care. maybe he deserves it.
the food was great! prices were reasonable (not cheap but manageable). they only sell fish, shrimp and clams, all grilled. menu was all in indonesian but the waitress explained the items. portions weren't big for american standards. we ordered some extras after seeing the first dish.
ambience was very indonesian, which we liked a lot. might have been nicer if we came when it wasn't too dark.
all in all, i give this place 5 stars+ and would definitely come back when/if i ever pass...

The clams with that special sauce was mindblowingly good!! The sauce was sweet, salty and smoky! We started with one plate and had a total of 6 plates by the end of our evening. We also had grilled fish, grilled prawns and some fish head soup. Everything was fresh, delicious and so affordable.
