Liep's Cafe — Restaurant in Bandar Lampung

A beautiful restaurant! Great ambience however, the food quality is not that great. It looks great but the cheapest possible ingredients are used in everything.

Kraft cheese, instant mashed potatoes (real mash is so cheap to make and a very very different flavor and do not forget the bayleaf when you cook the potatoes!).

The sauce for the fettuccini Alfredo is not even at beginner level. The flour wasnt even cooked properly in the bechamel sauce (it is supposed to have a cream sauce) and there was no savory flavor at all. No onion garlic or butter (not blue band plastic) not even salt or pepper. Does the chef even taste what he makes!?

The chicken wings were drowned in what seems like ABC sauce.

Having owned several cafes and restraunts in Bali and News Zealand I can only give them 2 stars for the ambience and design of the restaurant. The food is very very below average. The presentation is good but the taste is below average. All that cheap processed tasteless cheese is not an attraction.

Use real ingredients (15% more cost in bulk from suppliers but you use 20% less ingredients with a much more wholesome hearty full of flavor "mouthgasm" taste) better you get an executive chef consultant and stop being so cheap 🤦🏻

I have eaten western food many times and it is delicious and the place is very nice the atmosphere is also I like but for your staff is very unfriendly to me does not smile and does not say hello and your staff does not understand anything what I say I dont know his name and the person is tall with an indifferent face, and after eating it was time to pay and what happened I used tap to pay for my payment and I had to wait a long time he said to confirm with the supervisor first because the bank machine he had did not support and I said I could try he did not allow it even though it was clear that it would work for the payment after I waited a long time only one tap was completed so WHAT IS THE PROBLEM?? Visited here with my Turkish hubby, he ordered chicken & mushroom quesadillas and I ordered chicken fajitas. They tasted so good, even my husband ordered 1 more chicken fajitas plus extra tortillas for himself LOL (don't hesitate to ask for extra tortillas, they just charged it 6k IDR). He said the taste almost same as Turkish food. The food and drinks were a lil bit pricey tho but it's ok cause we were satisfied with the taste.
