Skaye Lampung Cafe and Resto — Restaurant in Bandar Lampung

Once in a while, you have to hit a tourist trap, and here it is... We came for the view, which was ok and here end the good part of the review. The arrangement of chairs and tables and lights are seemingly made by a warehouse worker lagging guest comfort and a proper setup; sitting on some tile benches... ...what to say.

We ordered some food and cocktails, and the disappointment just continued. The pizza prepacked and heated up with ketchup instead of proper tomato sauce.

The cocktails? Please don't ask... My 12 year old sister makes better cocktails if I supply her with proper spirits instead of trying to maximize profits with cheap ones like here.

Only 3 of the 15 cocktails were available. This should have been a warning sign. Mojito with some peppermint spirit instead of rum and a daiquiri, which tastes like gummibears, But they charge the same price as a mediocre bar anywhere else in Indonesia.

Yes, the staff was very nice, but that didn't weigh off the food and drink... The music I'd perfect for fans of kampung dance off but not to relax and stay for longer.

Actually, there is nothing special about this place except the view. Thanks for its place which located on the hill so you can see the city view. Beside that, in my personal opinion, nothing more.

The burger is so small. Very different with what it displayed on catalogue. The live music sounds good, but not the non-live music. Too noisy. Thats why i personally dont recommend as a kid friendly place although it has good city view. Not mention the smoke.

nice city view has a private table for romantic dinner. (But how it could be when it surrounded by ordinary table?)

bad toilet noisy full of smoker. Not good for your heath (and your kids) steep road to access the place bloody hell expensive burger with decent tastes and small size. It also different with its...

Well, don't just look at good comments. Consider the bad ones, too.

Say that I'm not this place's kind of target market, but i think this is way too much.

One thing this place offers was just the view, not even the ambience.

Food I ordered mostly served cold. I could say that the Nasi Goreng Kampung I had then felt like it came from a rice cooker since morning.

Moreover, I don't even understand the concept of this so-called Cafe and Resto. You got menu choice and price as high as restaurant, but you have to take the order by yourself after hearing that disturbing BEEP BEEP BEEP electronic. I would say this is a cafe, but the order desk appears like it is a fast food outlets.

Manage your expectation when coming here. Otherwise, the view alone is what you could...
