Batagor Riri — Restaurant in Bandung City

I've been really curious to try Batagor Riri, so me and my friends decided to give it a try. We ordered via online delivery and ordered Paket Batagor 2 Siomay 1. Like its name, you gonna get 2 pieces of Batagor (deep fried meatball tofu) and 1 piece of Siomay (deep fried Bandung style fish cake) complete with peanut sauce and lime. In my opinion, their peanut sauce is to watery to my liking and the peanut sauce kinda under seasoned for my palate. The batagor and siomay also kinda bland and under seasoned for me. Since in the term of pricing Batagor Riri is similar with the most famous batagor place in Bandung, I thought it's pretty fair to compare both of this batagor place, and in my opinion Batagor Riri still far to compete with its competitor (but this could be different between my palate and you guys palate, sadly this one isn't for me 😢). Batagor is one of autentic Sundanese snacks, made of fish paste, glutenous rice, flour and tofu. It is deep fried to get that crunchy texture. Batagor Riri is one of the famous outlets in Bandung specializing in Batagor. We visited the one in Jl. Burangrang. It was our first time there and due to the pandemic, the dine in restaurant is partly closed and it is semi-outdoor. So, it was a bit hot inside.
