When I arrived, I noticed that you could get the snack of the day if you left a review on Google. Honestly, I would do it without that incentive because I'm so happy with my dining experience! All the dishes, pastries, and drinks we ordered were exceptionally delicious. The ambiance is nice and bright, making it very comfortable. Be aware it could get full during peak hours like lunchtime, after office hours, or on weekends.
The noodles were great, and I loved the snacks, especially the siomay and the one with the fried bread. All the staff are nice, friendly, and helpful. You'll be amazed at how fast they prepare your order despite the busy café with lots of people. The staff also have good product knowledge. Additionally, everything is reasonably priced. While they don't have a mushola (praying space), you can easily cross the road to the nearby mosque.
For someone who doesn't like spring onions and shallots, I could easily finish the sambal matah and the spring onions on the Vietnamese chicken rice. That shows how good their food is. No wonder Chef Devina is very famous for her recipes! Highly recommended! OH and don't forget to buy some of the pastries and desserts for home. You won't regret! (Sorry, no pictures. Too busy...
Read moreThe cafe is located in Setrasari Shopping "Mal". Actually more like a shopping centre, rather than a mall, but Bandung people always call this place "Mal Setrasari". Anyway, my niece was completing her 4-week apprenticeship in Bandung, and getting ready to go back to IPB , that afternoon. So we all decided to have a meal together, and that place is the closest to home. I have never been there, and was quite surprised by the atmosphere and by the diverse menu. The menu is a combination of Western food choices, Asian food and of course Indonesian dishes. In addition, the front part of the cafe is a bakery, where customers can choose a variety of fancy bread. The drinks were refreshing, although I am a bit dismay at the size of glasses, too small 😁 For our group, a family of 5 , the final bill came to +/- Rp 580.000 , including taxes and charges. Which was rather economical, considering we also ordered fancy breads and fried tofus as snack. I definitely would visit this place again. Oh , I really should mentioned that the waiters were friendly...
Read moreLocation : located in the setrasari plaza. Very easy to find.
Parking : Hard to find parking, might get one but not that close to the restaurant.
Decoration : modern type of restaurant.
Food & Drinks : i think their pastry is very nice. I will recommend their mochi, egg tart, and chicken pandan bread. Food just so so. I order betawi soup, the soup is quite tasteless, you need to add chilli sauce. Egg chiffon rice is quite nice; egg, rice and chinese sausage, very simple. They are famous for their tom yum noodle, i tried it but since i am not a big fan of tom yum soup, so i can't really tell if it is good or not. Ice lemongrass citrus tea is nice for refreshment. For side dishes, you can order siomay, it is quite nice. The best part is their dessert, early grey panna cotta, not too sweet but just exactly the right flavor.
Price : very cheap for that kind of standard. Very affordable for office people who works near by.
Overall : i will come again for their dessert and pastry. I think it is worth to...
