I will say this, it is easy to make a chicken katsu but it is hard to make it right. House of Mooja really delivers what I could describe as a perfect katsu, at least in Indonesia even.
It just about 500 meters from aston pasteur, you can easily reach this place by motorbike or gojek for more convenience, but they also provide quite places to park your car. Inside is a really cozy, home-like ambience that would make you and your friends can be here for hours, a nice hangout place that I would think of from Bandung area.
The food itself is quite limited but dont let it fool you, it is delicious, as hell. I ordered Chiizu Katsu, bundled with rice/french fries and ice tea for about 35k. It is marvelous, the chicken katsu is fried really well, it is crispy and light battering with such a succulent chicken inside. It is really moist, which most of chicken katsu place might fail in Indonesia. Seasoned well and topped with cheese sauce, which in my personal opinion is not that too cheesy, overpowering and match well with the katsu itself. A simple quick lunch, and I understand why this place got so much positive and high ratings.
I really recommend you to come to this place if you stuck on where to go for a quick bite. Well, I dont drink coffee but if you do, you could try their wide selection of coffee and trust me, they smell...

My go to drink will always be Rebecca. Yes, go ahead order Rebecca, she's magical. A mocktail that has the taste that you won't ever find anywhere else. She's so sweet and creamy but she is able to quench your thirst in the middle of sun soaked days. You'll fall in love with her creamy sweetness, and her butterscotchy scent at first, then she'll tickle your taste buds with her soft sparkling soda (it is so soft tho, I swear), and leave you surprised with her spicy refreshing after taste (like when you had a big gulp of fruity soda on a hot summer day). The complexity she has is so magical, all the flavors effortlessly dance around your mouth to replenish you in a way that you wouldn't expect.
The foods?, Katsuya wins my heart. They cooked Katsuya perfectly, the chicken is so juicy and tender, has crispy thin layer of breading, and also well seasoned for my taste buds. For lite bite, go try Tahu Cabe Garam (or Lada Garam), a salty peppery fried soft soy bean curd.
Tbh, I dont took any food/bev pic whenever I visit House of Moojä because I always swayed by how good their food/bev are and it makes me forget to take pics.
Let's go home to...
