Kehidupan Tidak Pernah Berakhir: A Vegan Advocacy 🌱🍚
On my visit to "Kehidupan Tidak Pernah Berakhir," I was greeted by an array of buffet choices that struck a chord with both my palate and my principles. The spread included both white and brown rice, a variety of satays, crispy mushrooms, and an abundance of vegetables, all rich with the authentic taste of local cuisine.
What stood out to me, beyond the delicious food, was the wealth of information available about veganism. As someone who has been part of the vegan movement for nearly 20 years, I appreciated the effort to educate visitors on veganism, particularly from the perspective of conscious eating and consumption. It's essential, in my view, to encourage those unfamiliar with or new to the movement, and "Kehidupan Tidak Pernah Berakhir" does just that.
Supporting such establishments is heartening, as it contributes to the broader acceptance and understanding of veganism. I do hope a similar establishment opens in Bali, where the vegan scene often leans more towards trendiness and tourist appeal rather than the grassroots ethos of the movement I've come to support over the years.
My only regret was not arriving earlier to fully indulge in the wide variety of foods available. What I did manage to taste thoroughly impressed me, despite the deceptively nondescript entrance. Once inside, the spacious area with ample seating and the buffet setup was a delightful discovery.
"Kehidupan Tidak Pernah Berakhir" is more than just a restaurant; it's a testament to the enduring spirit of the vegan movement and a reminder of the impact our dietary choices have on the world. It's a must-visit for anyone looking to explore authentic Indonesian flavors while supporting a conscious and...
Read moreTo clarify, this is place to eat. I have been to Kehidupan Tidak Pernah Berakhir many times. At first, I thought it was some multilevel marketing business headquarter or an insurance company. Then I looked up online and found that this is a vegan restaurant. Vegan or healthy food places are usually associated with upscale/hype interior and expensive menu ranging from IDR 50k especially in cities such as Jakarta and Bandung. But not with Kehidupan where the offering starts from IDR 15k containing rice and four vegan dishes. Every meal is entitled to a free refill water, or you can choose from various beverage options with additional cost.
The taste of the food suits me well but for those who love spicy or salty or MSG-rich food might not like it very well. If you are going to give a try, I would suggest to go for salty dishes and not opting with the sweet ones.
Branding wise, they do a lot of education initiatives on being a vegan or vegetarian on site but I would say that the style is quite old school. If provided with the opportunity, I personally would love to help on that side since I love this...
Read moreBandung’s Best Vegan Feast —Kehidupan Tidak Pernah Berakhir is hands down the best vegan restaurant in Bandung. It’s not just the value—though the prices are incredibly kind—it’s the heart in every bite. Fresh ingredients, lightning-fast service, and a team that radiates warmth and care.
Oohhhhh the food? Utterly addictive. Let’s talk about that Sate—spicy, smoky, slightly sweet, deeply savory. It’s a flavor explosion that makes you close your eyes and hum with joy. Every dish on the menu is crafted with intention and balance. I ate here once and knew I had to come back. Then I came back again. And again. It’s that good. Whether you're plant-based or just hungry for something truly satisfying, this place delivers flavor without compromise. I call it a Bandung essential—no mission to this city is complete without a stop (or five) here. Eat well, feel amazing. Your taste buds will thank you.
