Morning Glory Coffee Bandung Setrasari — Restaurant in Bandung City

On my mission to try every eatery in the Setra Sari Mall area, I stumbled upon this seemingly unassuming spot from the front. To my surprise, it actually opens up to a spacious semi-outdoor dining area at the back. During my visit, the indoor section looked a bit cluttered, so I opted to sit outside instead. It turned out to be a comfortable choice. Airy, pleasant, and equipped with a few power outlets, making it a decent option for working remotely on a laptop.

For dinner, we ordered three dishes: Salmon Teriyaki, Nasi Kendil, and Chicken Schnitzel. While the plating was appealing, both the Nasi Kendil and Chicken Schnitzel lacked depth in flavor. The schnitzel relied heavily on its sauce for taste, but there simply wasn’t enough of it to complement the chicken. The Nasi Kendil, meanwhile, could have benefited from stronger seasoning to bring out its full potential. The Salmon Teriyaki was alright since the sauce was plenty. The serving size of the salmon was modest, but fair enough considering the price.

After dinner, we ordered the Milan Latte with Ice Cream. I am not very well-versed in coffee, but even I could tell it had a richer, more distinctive taste than a typical brew. Smooth, aromatic, and pleasantly balanced.

As for the service, the staff were polite but rather reserved. No one greeted us, showed us seats, or offered menus upon arrival. I believe they weren’t rude in any way, just noticeably shy and soft-spoken. Nonetheless it was still a negative point in my book and could definitely use some...

This café sits right across from my office and has become my quick caffeine getaway before work. The small indoor area in front of the counter has a clean, modern look, but the real charm lies in its spacious two-storey semi-outdoor space surrounded by greenery. On my first visit, I sat upstairs in a newly added room facing my office, with AC off, but the breeze from the backyard made it pleasantly cool and peaceful.

On my second visit, though, the room was closed off and marked as a meeting room, so I settled in the upstairs backyard area instead. This place is a little bit hard to find. Because its located inside Ruko Setrasari Mall. Not only main meal, they also served pastry and they were home made. The food taste is good, we order Big Breakfast, Spaghetti Aglio Olio, Chicken Cordon Bleu, Apple Pie, Lychee Mojito, Ice Caramel Macchiato, and Ice Caramel Latte.
