The Atmosphere is very calming. However the service still need to be improved especially the drink corner. We ordered drink that have "ketan" (sticky rice) in it, we've been waiting for them to be served but it never arrived. The other drinks that we ordered such as coconut, watermelon juice, es doger have been served but that "ketan" drink didn't arrive at all. When we asked the waiters, it turned out the "ketan" is not ready yet. We've been waiting to long for it and just get explained at the later time. We cancelled the "ketan" drink and asked for "es jeruk"..... waiting.... and waiting.... The food had been served but the drink didn't come out. Hufht ~ We finished our food... and Thank God the drink have come.... finally. -Firstly the waiters can inform the customer in advance that they need extra time to prepare for the drinks if the "ketan" is not ready yet. -When we replaced the drink order , the drink should be make first, not putting in the queue of order line. -We did spend Rp 705.000 not including the icecreams that need to be paid in cash, but the experience is not favorable. -Hopefully the services can be improve next time coz the place is nice and calming so that the customer would like to come...
Read moreLalawuh sunda depict its own title as restaurant with sunda menu and atmosphere. The waiters and waitress dress up with sunda-theme uniform and they're very friendly. They provide hot plain tea as welcome drink. They have variety of menu specialized in sundanese food. From special sauce or variety of cold beverage from sunda and so on. Personally I like their 'nasi liwet' and the fish soup. Their gurame menus taste good and refreshing. The price is rather expensive just like any other family restaurants. Unfortunately some menus do have less portion than some others. The place is cozy and has good ambience though. I would not recommend this place when it's on heavy rainy days since it is too much of open space. There is also (stray?)cat and unfortunately I see some rats in their garden (in the middle of the vines).
The good points are they have spacious parking lot, quite big of garden which gives natural blend-in ambience, and quite tasty menus. I'll recommend this place for big gathering on bright days or night event(as long its...

I recently visited a Sundanese restaurant that offers a wide variety of traditional lalawuh (side dishes), and I was pleasantly surprised by both the flavor and presentation. The grilled chicken (ayam bakar) was perfectly seasoned and tender, while the fried tempeh and tofu (tempe goreng and tahu goreng) were crispy and flavorful.
The standout dish for me was the karedok, a raw vegetable salad with peanut sauce—it was fresh, crunchy, and had just the right amount of spiciness. The sambal served alongside every dish brought an extra kick that enhanced the overall experience.
The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and traditional, with bamboo decorations and Sundanese music playing in the background. The service was fast and friendly, and the prices were reasonable for the generous portions.
Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to enjoy authentic Sundanese cuisine with a variety of...
