I need one more star to give this restaurant a proper rating. I’d give 6 stars for the foods, service, atmosphere. The whole experience you will get to have proper brunch/dinner with your partners or friends are amazing. I’d start with the reception, they will greet you in the most polite and professional way of hospitality. The menu are fancy but won’t make your wallet worry. Many choices of foods, small bites, and drinks. My recommendation would be the salad, you can just blind pick from the salad menu and you shall receive proper salad with tasteful dressings. In the menu they put some notes too if you’re allergic to nuts, dairy, or you’re vegetarian it’s all stated clearly. Third, serenity. The word that I’d use to describe the vibes of the place. Where you can find peace by seeing the trees flowers, and wind breeze slowly, the air are clean. The access to this place is very easy but indeed its a bit going inside the village and small road but dont worry cars can go here and they have spacious parking lot. You won’t lost because they put sign in every corner of the road how to get their place. If you’re lucky you will meet one of the owner, this gentleman is very friendly and polite. Such an experienced humble man. Thank you for making such a resto. So to conclude : must visit...

To find a restaurant of this quality in a little village was a big and happy surprise. Yabbiekayu grows a most of their own vegetables and fruit. This means that a menu item will be a touch different every time you eat there, and every time it will be fresh and gorgeous. They even grow their own rice.
The menu offers both International and Indonesian dishes, and although the Indonesian dishes are not as spicy perhaps as you might find in a more traditional restaurant, you won't lose out on flavour.
I had the pleasure of eating there a few times over my recent visit to Yogyakarta. Particular favourites of mine include their tempe; the breakfast banana pikelets; and opor ayam.
Just look at the photos attached to this review and you can see for yourself some of the beautiful food I and my companions were served - hard to believe but these are genuine photos of what we were given, not "glamour" shots. My mouth is watering again as I...
Read moreThis is the best place in Yogyakarta for vegetarians. Here you get absolutely tasty food beyond nasi goreng and gadu gadu, the two dishes vegetarians live on in Yogyakarta. And it is not a copy of a European style, but authentic Indonesien and still without animals. The atmosphere is also very nice, very clean and the tables situated in such a way, that the warm wind blows away the mosquitos. The background music is silent, another important element for a good meal, in other places sometimes one cannot understand his own word because of one or even several music presented at the same moment. In general the place feels peaceful and the personal is friendly, however friendly staff seems to be everywhere in Yogyakarta. In conclusion this is a place I warmly recommend to any visitor of Yogyakarta, to vegetarians in particular but also to non vegetarians, because they also find food for their taste here. The drinks are made of fruits they grow in...
