Read moreOur recent stay at Montigo Resorts Nongsa was made even more memorable by the exceptional service we received at Pantai Restaurant. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality, especially from Alni. Her attentive service and friendly demeanor made us feel right at home, away from home.
Alni went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was enjoyable. She was knowledgeable about the menu, offering recommendations and answering our questions with patience and enthusiasm. Her genuine care and attentiveness to detail made us feel valued guests, not just another table.
We were also impressed by the delicious and reasonably priced food at Pantai Restaurant. The menu offers a variety of dishes to suit all tastes, and the quality was consistently high throughout our stay (2 dinners!). The restaurant's signature steamed grouper Nyona style (pictured) is highly recommended. The sweet, spicy and tanginess in the sauce combined with the freshness of the fish ensured that we polished the dishes off. Just like how the combination of Alni's exceptional service and the restaurant's excellent food made Pantai our go-to spot for dining at Montigo Resorts.
Without a doubt, Alni is a true asset to Pantai Restaurant and Montigo Resorts. Her dedication to providing outstanding service contributes significantly to the overall guest experience. Read moreBeen to this restaurant twice over my 3 days stay in Montigo and I’m loving it..
Lunch on Day 1 Reached early on Sunday (12pm or so) and wasn’t able to check in as the room wasn’t ready. Therefore, we came down to this restaurant, which was conveniently located a level below the reception, for a quick bite. Ordered the fried rice and egg noodle, food was okay, nothing fanciful.
Dinner on Day 2 Having tried the other restaurants, we decided to come back for dinner on our last night. Ordered 5 dishes for us two as below : Omelette with mushroom - I’m an egg lover and this is definitely good in my opinion, not overcooked nor undercooked in any ways. Fire chicken on ice - Fancy name and an even fancier presentation, tastes like sweet and sour pork, but chicken French bean with chilli - Spicy enough to keep us on it Cereal prawns - the only dish we shouldn’t have ordered, pretty much tasteless
Black pepper crab - I’m not sure if it was the ambience of the restaurant or if the crab was good, but we had TWO crabs.. (So much so we kinda triggered the neighbouring table to order one too 😆) I think it was a highlight of the trip simply because we were enjoying the magnificent view from the restaurant where we were seated, a dish that’s wonderfully cooked and relaxing to eat, in a setting that’s meant to be exactly for that purpose. (Without any flies)
Awesome experience , I would come back just to relinquish that...
