FX Labs — Restaurant in Blitar

I'm quite ambivalent on this one. FX Labs is surely a great place to waste your spare time. The serving time was incredibly brisk. The price is incredulously cheap. It is lavishly decorated with excellent placement of lights here and there, hanging flowers all around. The coffee was enjoyable to say the least. And it has some je ne sais quoi that i can't even begin to explain.

Yet it falls short on some of the most crucial aspects. The place felt some kind of hollow. The music choice was horrible. I would have been a permanent fixture if not for this below par atmosphere.

P.S : if i recalled correctly, there was a cafe in Malang called FX Labs in Jl. Panderman. Was that owned by the same people who...

The chicken popcorn are 10/10, perfect and super delicious to my personal taste (I ordered one with teriyaki sauce). The irish coffee is good. Vibes are warm even in cold post-rain weather. My single complain are if you state in the menu (also pictured) that the chicken popcorn are to be served with poached/half-cooked egg, please do so. I however really appreciate how the waitress offered me a new dish with proper egg as compensation following my complaint that the egg was well done. Her kindness was satisfying I rejected the offer instead. 4/5 because muzak selection doesn't match my preference but overall the food, beverages, and services...

The place is really good. I love the idea of the minimalist concept of the building. They offer affordable menu with a good taste. They have a good toilet behind. Actually they will have second floor soon. The issues are about their narrow parking place....
