Juliette The Selfish — Restaurant in Bogor

This review is based on my second time visiting Juliette The Selfish. It's already my second time here and the experience is only getting better.

Came here for dinner on saturday night with my mom, we chose to come again here because they had "Zamrud Indonesia" for Saturday Jukebox (live music). First of all, the violin and piano performance is excellent, very fitting with the place's vibes and adds so much to the atmosphere.

We both had appetizer, main course, dessert, and free drinks. Here's a short review for each of them:

Juliette's Salad (4/5⭐) Mixed greens, sliced mango, and cherry tomatoes served with cheese and dressing that tasted like rujak. Fresh and nice, although the mango is too few for the portion (our personal opinion).

Juliette's Bistecca (5/5⭐) Our absolute favorite! Australian wagyu steak (medium rare) served with potatoes. The steak is super delicious, same goes for the fries. They didn't serve it with typical sauce which is a plus because it became a new experience. The portion is for 2 pax, and we both finished it in no more than 15 minutes.

Tiramisu (4.5/5⭐) Their tiramisu is good, not too sweet because they use espresso. My mom who isn't a sweet tooth totally liked it.

Chocoate Gateau (5/5⭐) Chocolate gateau served with ice cream and strawberry. This was my first time trying chocolate gateau, very delicious so no wonder it became their customer favorite.

Summer Pineapple Mocktail (4.5/5⭐) Free drinks because we made reservation. Really refreshing and nice to cleanse your palette.

Overall our experience is great, especially with their service and hospitality. The manager/supervisor Mr. Nanang also came and talked with us to ask about our opinion and gave a detailed explanation about the foods. He also gave us recommendation for our next visit, so we will definitely...

Literally one of the best fine dining in Bogor. Its the 3rd time i came here and theyre very consistent ! The atmosphere is insanely good. The staff is outstanding, very friendly, very helping they are all very professional. Especially shoutout to Pak Nanang (Barista) thanks for recommending food and drinks ! We order lot of foods:

Ratatouille : it is served cold and taste amazing!

Mushroom soup : hands down the best mushroom soup ive ever taste. The creamy, the spices, it amazes me.

Minestrone soup : tomato based, sweet and sour, its good.

Roast beef : served cold, this was the BEST appetizer. GET IT !

Juliette biztecca : its sirloin steak served with potato, this one is insane, we order medium well and it came perfect! Every bite was delightful, definitely will order this again!

Hamburg : if u love ground beef, order this. Pretty sure no other restaurant ive ever been to can come close to this hamburg, dare i say its on par with what i try in Japan.

For dessert we order the choco brownies, this was me and my wife favs, it was served cold with strawberry jam on top, strawberry fruit slice and vanilla ice cream. The brownie was more like fudge brownie, insanely good, must try.

For drinks we had: Blue island & Nena (cocktails) : loved it ! Spanish latte (coffee) : it’s nice, preferably less sugar.

I would say if youre around bogor and want to taste a very good dining, go here, you have to reserve especially on saturday night. The only downside was its very hard to get a park if you bring cars. So please do come before rush hour to make your...

I went here Sunday night with my family (there were 4 of us) and we ordered the Simple Pleasures set menu (salad, 2 soups, 2 main courses, a dessert & 2 drinks), and boy did I have a great time. I was honestly kinda sceptical with the place and the vibe at first, but honest to god Juliette The Selfish is now up there on my list of cafes-to-go in Bogor.

We had Juliette’s salad which was very refreshing, a minestrone and mushroom soup that were both so flavorful (I particularly love the minestrone more because I LOVE tomato based food), and beef stroganoff and carbonara pasta for the mains. The beef stroganoff was really good albeit a little to salty for my taste, but it was probably because I tasted it without the rice as it was supposed to. The carbonara… man it was definitely the star of the show. So creamy and a very right amount of cheesy because I didn’t feel “mahteh” at all. The egg was cooked properly as well giving it the right amount of doneness. All in all it was definitely one of the best carbonara I’ve ever tasted without the cheese wheel kinda gimmick. Instantly a favourite.

Oh the seaweed latte is also very very niceee. Very recommended.

If you’re in Bogor and looking for a place to have a nice dinner with your loved ones (or even by yourself), look no further and just go to Juliette The Selfish. Excellent food, excellent service, probably excellent everything else.
