One my favorite caffe in Magelang, Central Java. The location is not far from Borobudur temple, and if you don't have tight schedjule you can visit here just for enjoy the nature. From main road you just take about 200 m and you can see this cafe on the left side. The cafe is in middle of rice field but they constructed the field to be a beautifull garden (but there's not well maintenance, some facility all broken too), you can see small river, fish pool and some flower garden, and the atmosphere is really quite so you can start small talk or discusse something with any distruction... but because the caffe concept is outdoor cafe you may require mosquito lotion if you coming here...
They have so many variation of menu, beverage and food are so good. And no to long for waiting some food.. but they don't serve alcoholic drink (like common javanese caffe)..
The most worst thing when I came here is about the toilet, there was creapy because the floor is dark and the light is to dim, I could't see anything under my feet...
Because the place is quite big and they seems not have so many staff it's hard if you ask for some service or something, but youncan go to the front office directly to get something. They don't have power charge in the seat. So make sure your phone battery full enought for take a moment :)
They only have two payment with cash or Indonesian QR so be prepare and makesure you can easy to...

I'm writing this review in a mixed feeling.
On one hand, this place is a gem. Located in a secluded area, far from noises, the air is fresh, and the ambience calming. Double it with a close friend to chat, a coffee and a plate of perfectly cooked crops - you got a jack pot. Yes, this place is not for everyone. If you are a person who appreciate and enjoy solitude - this is for you.
The landscape is well designed, that every spots seems compliment the nature around it.
The sound of flowing water, birds chirping, butterflies flying during daylight. Shifted to dark, you got flowing water, frogs, crickets, and often fireflies roams freely.
You will appreciate those privilege. Thus, this place deserves five stars.
On the other hand, I am worried that with its popularity rising, those privileges will get compromised. I hope not.

Read moreKopi Mpat is a lovely spot that feels like a hidden gem, tucked away from the busy main road. The place is really charming with its grass garden, a peaceful pond, and different types of trees making the atmosphere so calm and relaxing. There's also a little river nearby and beautiful fields around, which just adds to the overall serene vibe.
I gave the fried shrimp noodles a try, and they were quite tasty. While the prices are a bit high, I think the quality of the food and the relaxing environment make it worth it. It's a perfect place to unwind and enjoy a meal surrounded by nature. Although you have to venture a bit off the main road to find it, the experience at Kopi Mpat is definitely worth the journey. If you're looking for a friendly spot to kick back and enjoy some good food, this place is...
