Nasi Rabeg Khas Cilegon — Restaurant in Cilegon

One of very crowded food stall for coconut milk rice with beef sweet stew in Cilegon, open from evening till midnight

Its been here since years ago and didn't change much for the stall, location, and the tables

Its better to take away becase they not serve many chairs for dine in

They offer another additional dish like perkedel (mashed fried potato), tempe bacem (sweet soy sauce slow cooked tempe), and telur asin (salted duck egg)

The portion is quite small, they didn't give additional vegetables for side dish, its only consist of rice and beef, and for the Rabeg its too sweet for me but the beef is quite tender so its easy to chew

Overall you could try if you curious about local food for traditional...

Location of this place is near to SMP Negeri 1 Cilegon. Rabeg is a typical culinary from Banten that uses cow raw materials. Almost all parts of the cow, from offal, meat to bones can be processed into this dish. Rabeg is similar to curry and tongseng, the difference is Rabeg doesn't use coconut milk and the taste is a bit sweet. This is one of my favourite place since junior high school, for a portion of Rabeg you only have to pay approximately IDR 20k. Don't forget to add Perkedel and Emping when you eat...

Dalam misi pencarian nasi uduk malam malam, akhirnya menemukan tempat ini. Pertama kali sih nyobain, dan ternyataaaa ENAK RABEGNYAAA.

Aku pesen yang campur (kalian kalau ga suka jeroan dll bisa minta daging aja ko), dapet nasi uduk plus rabeg yang melimpah (bisa minta tambah kuah juga). Rabegnya gurih, EMPUK BANGET COY, pas dimakan ga pake effort heuuu enakkk pengen lagi. Kita juga bisa ambil lauk lain ya. Bisa lihat di foto yang aku posttt ada perkedel dan kawan2nya.

Cuma di sini yang menurutku kurang adalah justru nasi uduknya, kebetulan kemarin dapet yang cukup kering gitu jadi beneran butuh kuah supaya bisa masuk itu nasi. Sama kurang condiment lain kaya acar mungkin will be good, sama yang common deh, kerupuuukkkkk. Kenapa kita harus beli lagi buat dapetin kerupuk ataupun empingnyaaa. Dengan harga 20 ribuan, harusnya udah bisa dapetin lengkap sih ituu. Hehehehe

Untuk tempatnya beneran pinggir jalan ya gais, jadi duduknya siapa cepat dia dapat, gabisa lama lama karena banyak yang ngantri. Sama di sini banyak yang minta2 gitu anak kecil dan pengamen :( kurang cocok buat yang mau berlama lama. Mungkin...
