Bi Coffee — Restaurant in Ciputat

It is extremely rare that I have to write such a review with only one star but alas, this place managed to disappoint me so much that if I had no morals, I would have gone into Karen mode.

My family and I ordered two beef schnitzels, one mie dok-dok, one cheese and strawberry stuffed waffle, one black and yellow waffle, one ice kopi pisang susu, one ice strawberry latte and one sparkle strawberry. Each of these dishes/drinks had their flaws except one, which I shall explain below.

The mie dok-dok was perhaps the only menu item that is more or less flawless despite its outrageous (in a bad way) portion size. "It's okay." The beef schnitzels were alright, not bad, but inconsistent in its saucing department. I only had a little bit of sauce meanwhile my brother had what seemed to be an ocean of sauce. The waffles were alright despite the fact that the ice cream had more or less melted when served (again, disappointing). Stay away from the ice kopi pisang susu (in English: iced banana milk coffee). Barely had any taste of banana. It could be categorised under false advertising. The strawberry latte was mostly strawberry and milk (and water from the melted ice) without any coffee whatsoever. As for the sparkle strawberry? You might as well be ordering the bottled mineral water.

Food aside, I noticed some very rage-inducing things from the crew and food prep. What sort of place makes you wait 2 HOURS for the food to come out? The receipt literally says that it might take two hours for the food to come out. Thankfully, we only had to wait 45 minutes, though I have to say it was still a very long wait. Don't come here if you're starving. Although this might sound like the end to my review, there are still some problems which plagued my visit. The crew seemed to not have an idea as to where the tables are. Sure, all of the tables were numbered but the crew still had to peek over at the table number because they seemed to not have memorised the location of each table. Also, they managed to serve THE DESSERT FIRST BEFORE THE MAIN COURSE. Egregious.

The prices are also expensive for what the food and drinks are worth. All in all, this was a VERY disappointing experience. Don't come here.

This is what happened when you go this place: You are welcome with Parking Ticket Fee - Where Other similar Place Free No Restaurant staff welcome you at the main area, so I desided to seat everywhere I feel comfortable. Need a litle adjustment with their online Menu. You have to connect with your own data to acces their online Menu When requested printed Menu, Not Available. Restaurant staff asked me politely to move from my seat, because i was sitting alone at a table for six, while I was working with my laptop still open, Imagine you were expecting a nice quiet place to work, but you need to move to other table. While theres not even a group present at that time, I was the only guest + 1 lady just coming. I never have this experienced else where. Usually waiter will direct you to your convenience table and will not disturb afterwards. Can you Imagine, you were forced to order Menu online, but foe the payment you must walk to the cashier, why do you need online menu if you dont provide online payment ? Dont expect Charging station, Dont expect Wifi around. So its so not recomended place to work. View- they only have fish pond and a Joglo. No other view you can enjoy there but trees. Finaly I lost my appetite because I have to move from my table, where i supposed to dine in but then I pay the food and just walk away, not even have the chance to see the food that I have ordered and paid. I arrived here on Saturday morning when there were only a few people around. A waiter quickly helped me find a place to sit with a power outlet available because I wanted to work with my laptop, but please take note: So few power outlets are available, because probably they're not making this place one that's focused on working.

We need to scan the QR on our table, place an order on their website, and go to the cashier to pay so that the order will be processed. The online order form comes with pictures of every food and drink so it was really helpful to let me decide. I ordered their iced coffee, which came quite quick. It was surprisingly good! To be honest, I came to this place not expecting much from the F&B department, thinking this place mostly sells its "Instagrammable" look. But I was quite satisfied with their beef mangi bruschetta, which was classified as an appetizer even though the size of the set was big! (I wish the fries arrived hot, though...) I stayed quite long so I ordered iced lychee tea (a bit too sweet for my taste) and the banana/chocolate waffle with ice cream, which was tasty.

As for the atmosphere... I came here looking for open air and greenery so I was not disappointed. There's also a nice praying room. I don't drive so I couldn't comment on the parking service.
