Smiljan Coffee — Restaurant in Ciputat

This has always been my go-to place for my working-from-cafe activities. So my thoughts are going to be based on my multiple visits.

They have 3-4 different baristas, so if you’re ordering their manual brews, what you get will depend on their currently barista-in-charge. Each of them has different “signature” and I would not pinpoint which one is better because everything comes back to your preference. Nevertheless, all of them are great at extracting the flavor of the beans. They also keep rotating their selection of beans to choose from, so your cup of coffee will not be boring.

When it comes to the white coffee, I find their iced magic coffee really refreshing and strong at the same time. My wife loves it and it’s her repeated orders. I personally love their flat white, from any of their baristas. Another plus point is that you can make specific requests on how your white coffe should be, depending on your preference (ie: thicker/stronger/lighter/sweeter etc).

Their flavored lattes are also quite unique as they also put macchiato in it. And they’re like on another level.

I have not been trying their food much, but I’ve had their onion rings and brownies. Their onion rings were okay as their batter is not for my taste, though I love the chimichurri dipping. Their brownies is...

The parking lot space is bad for me, but it ia what it is.

The interior is simply amazing, with books, abstract paint, the cement, wood and black metal painted around is feels modern Japanese kinda style. The dynamic of flooring level also great!

The cafe fit around 50 people full seating.

The waiters welcoming and friendly, and signature coffee (smiljan blend) is good tho! And the foood is amazing for me, i am ordering grilles chicken white rice.

The smoking area quiet small but ok. Backside smoking area is quiet uncomfortable because it is a bit jungle so there's a lot of ants and mosquitoes at that time i was there. So maybe the management have to think to make the area a little bit less-mosquitoes 😁

The toilet is amazing! The smell is good, kinda herbal smell.

What makes the service is 3 stars, my food order come to me for around 40 minutes. It is bad tho. And the waiters didn't mention or give some info to me.

A bit hidden from the road due to the plants in front of the cafe yet amazing after seeing what's behind it. Visited the place with a friend. Ordered Iced Americano, Magic Coffee, and French Fries. The Ice Americano and and the Magic Coffee were GREAT! Loved the serving appearance and the size 😁

Service was OK. Friendly staff. Cozy place. Great for coffee getaway with your close friends or couple 👍 not really that spacy in the outside yet seems to be cozy inside the air conditioned room inside.

Totally easy to access from Bintaro via Boulevard UPJ Road. Just be careful in the junction as it tends to be very crowded during afternoon and evening.

Motorcycle parking space is FREE., accommodating around 10-15 bikes in front of the place. Had no clue about the cars parking space. Really hope the place can be extended 😂
