LOT449 — Restaurant in Cisarua

This cottage is located in Cisarua Bogor, not a far side from the main road to Puncak. If you depart from Jakarta city, it might take an hour drive and 45 minutes traffic jam, so totally probably less then 2 hours if you don’t get a worse traffic jam which is always a big chance that you will get worse one, so prepare yourself for a longer car trip (on weekends is absolutely the worst traffic, it might take like forever..). The cottage itself has a big garden with grass and trees, quite nice landscape but not many rooms. The staffs are polite, friendly and helpful.

I stayed in room which is a glass house, the wall and ceiling are all made of glass. They put black nets to cover the ceiling from sunshine, but with many spots will still let the sunshine to go through. For the side glass, they have window-blinds to cover off. The room is air conditioned and AC is working well, it has enough big space and nice bed with clean sheet. The bathroom is also okay and clean. When I was there, it rained all day long. The cloudy day made not much sunshine going through the ceiling nets. But the ceiling was leaking and the rain water dripped to the floor.. not so nice. Above of that, I think they really need to add a roof at the door of the glass house. Because when it rains (which it rains very very often in that area), it is very inconvenient to get inside and outside from the glass house, as without a roof we will get wet when we put the umbrella down before entering the door or get wet when taking the umbrella to go outside.. quite a fail design on this one. Hope when you are here, the roof...

A private park and resort in the Puncak area. If you want to go here, slow down after you see the rest area on the right side and go a bit you will see the sign for Lot 449 (not too big) on the left side. (This sign will use if you go from Bogor not going down from Puncak).

The parking space is limited, but, the tennis court is used for a parking lot too if the roundabout area is full.

In the restaurant area, there are several options for food and beverages with some moderate prices worth trying. Toilets and washbasins were also provided there.

For the resort area, there are 2 glass houses and 2 container houses. For glass house, can up to 4 persons by adding an extra bed. For the containers also the same.

Unfortunately, the service when we order the food until it arrived at the table is taking more time, and, for the glass house area, please you more be aware of the dust, sticky things in the corners, and some areas that are hidden from eye seeing. And also, the toilet area has moss. It should be clean and dry not humid. Maybe it can be evaluated to make the guests...

I would like to say this place is a hidden gem

Entrance is not really visible if you are not paying attention (gladly gmap loc is quite accurate), not too big since it's just like any other villa around, but surely fit even a bus there.

First impression here, it's very relaxing. Greenery view and fresh air, clean spaces, and the furnitures make this place just perfect for a short get-away. Rooms are available (they said you can watch the stars in the bed) for around IDR 1mi.

For the meals, I really enjoyed the taste. Try their honey grilled ribs, it's the best I've ever tasted. Kudos to the chef. The only thing that's bad for me is the price 😂 but it's all...
