Great Chinese restaurant featuring good local flavors in pork, chicken and fish. Indoor and outdoor seating but open air (no AC) throughout. Cash, credit card or e-wallet payments accepted. No English.

Menu features a variety of vegetarian options (fresh veggies & tofu) but highlights pork, chicken and fish. Crispy pork belly is delicious, as are the blanched greens and mixed broccoli. Menus have limited English but feature good pictures (in addition to Mandarin names). Selection of fresh fruit juices is very good - both the tolong belanda and sirsak are delicious and pre-sweetened, but they provide additional simple syrup if you need to sweeten it further. I like my juices pretty sweet and didn't need to add any more sweetener! Tea also served.

Service is family style so order several dishes and share them between you. White rice as well as vegetarian and non-vegetarian fried rice available. Service is quick & delicious. Informal but with an elegance a step above many other restaurants...

Delicious Food, Iconic Ikan Pari, but Prepare for the Heat!

One of their most iconic dishes is the Ikan Pari (ray, from the manta ray family) definitely a must-try! I also love their Terong Goreng and Samcan Goreng both are absolutely delicious. The Rumput Laut Soup is another solid choice for something light and refreshing.

However, the dining area can get really hot, especially on weekends when it’s packed, as there are only fans available so be prepared for that. Another downside for me is that their teh (tea) isn’t refillable, which is a bit of a letdown.

Most of the dishes here are very tasty but the chef tastebud is changing from the past as most of the food in present is toward sweet and salty ! I notice that the taste is unstable from time to time that I have visited. There are many workers but most of them are unattended due to standing and chatting among themselves .
