If you're looking for something different to eat in Medan this is a great option. Delicious home-cooked Pakistani cuisine. Bring your appetite but also bring some time because unless you order in advance be prepared to wait 30 minutes for your food because it's all cooked to order. It's well-worth the wait, but even better if you plan ahead. Cash & credit cards accepted. The owner speaks English.

This is a hard-to-find little place. Although technically on Jalan Gatot Subroto it's actually tucked back a little. It looks like you'd enter off the alleyway to the east of it (Gg. Famili), but there's actually an unmarked alleyway off of Jl. Gatot Subroto that takes you into the outdoor dining area. All the seating is outdoors though there is one table with an overhead fan.

Food is cooked to order - meaning after you order they'll go to the market to get whatever items they might need to complete your order. The Mutton Biryani is incredible but also spicy. The mutton is extremely tender and the rice is flavorful with a real kick to it. The Mix Veg side is packed with taste and a good side option along with their roti options.

Some of the dishes are only available in season (like the Bhindi Masala). A water (both air/aqua normal and bottled water) is available as well as tea and lassis.

Again, everything is made to order. It would be strongly advised to call in your order ahead of time. You can also order it to go via Grab. Everything here is cooked upon order, you need to be really patient. Best to plan your dining here, prebook, I have added the menu for you and the entrance, there is no proper signboard.

We ordered 3 - set chapatis which came in twos - they were nice big, 2 lacchaa paranthas, beef korma, chicken korma, chicken karahi, and their pakistani chai with fresh milk.

It took a really long time for the food to come to our table, but it was the best Authentic Pakistani food you can find in Medan. Truly amazing.

There was lots of food options, but we need to prebook 4 hours earlier. I checked with the chef he said that nothing here is precooked.

So if you are coming here for lunch let them what time you plan to reach and have your lunch or dinner. I love this place.

Advice, please put out a sign board on the road or street, I tried to visit place this afternoon and spend 30minutes trying to find the location, no sign board anywhere, google took me to side of university then back across other side of the road, GG famili, narrow lanes I could not take my big vehicle in, after unsuccessful struggle of over 30minutes I left, no one answeres the call, i am here few more days so hope to be able to visit the place next time.
