Bakmi Akai — Restaurant in Denpasar Barat

Visited in the morning (9am) as we thought they open early per google map. Placed order and waited pretty darn long for 3 bowls of noodles. The noodle texture is softer and resembles those Chinese bakmie I had in Bandung, West Java. Regardless of choice, you are served a bowl of noodle with meat sauce, quail egg, and strands of greens and what differs is the content of the soup (dumplings, prawns, etc ). I don't know if this is truly a legend or not, but when I'm in Bali I always come here whenever I have a chance, and this time I don't forget to write a review lol. I love its noodle, wether it's boiled or fried. Dumpling is great too, with clear and tasty soup. Fair portion at moderate price. Place has fan only but not too hot. Limited parking lot.

The soup was plain water with chopped spring onion lol

Its pricey as well, the food is not that good (except for the bakmi when u add your seasoning)

We ordered ikan bakso as its one of the expensive they have for sides. But the taste was all flour-like...
