Depot Komet Seafood — Restaurant in Denpasar Selatan

Marvelous seafood! We were browsing on Google Map for the nearest seafood nearby our house, and found this place due to the fact it has quite variety of seafood (It's not easy to find Chinese style steamed fish in this area). The place has the concept of open air, so expect no aircon room. Quite clean, and best of all : parking space for cars (enough for 3-4 cars). We ordered : steamed fish HK style, calamari, prawns with salted eggs, kangkung (water spinach), one rice and 2 drinks. Very reasonable price for total rp 163,000 (usd 12) , for 2 pax. Taste was above our expectation, it was really good and we're already planning for our second visit. Next time, we're gonna order frogs and crabs. 😚

I eat here more than anywhere else in Denpasar, as well as equally order delivery. The best Nasi Goreng Seafood in Bali. Can’t help but ordering it almost every time. That’s how good and satisfying it is. The staff is the nicest. And I just love the authenticity of the atmosphere. It’s like you’re in a Chinese movie or in a show of Anthony Bourdain. I fell in love with Badak here. Never tried before. So now I’m a fan.

By the way, the cutlery here is served in steaming hot water. And overall you can sense how meticulously the staff takes care of the place, food and customers by small details. For example, I enjoy receiving smartly packaged delivery. Especially the small sachet with my favorite finely diced...

Staffs were warm and friendly 🥰

The seafood was really really good and fresh. The wok-hey stir fried dishes were fragrant and flavourful, reminds me of tze char back at home but food was even better here! 🤤 We ordered cockles, crab, kangkong and shrimps. All dishes were served promptly.

Definitely will visit again if I ever visit Bali. Underrated restaurant that definitely deserves more...
