Karakter Kopi Bali is a cafe with a legendary reputation, but unfortunately, it falls short in some areas. While their coffee is undeniably delicious, the service is extremely slow, which can be frustrating as customers may have to wait up to an hour.

Additionally, the cafe is quite pricey, especially considering its location in the Renon area. The biggest letdown, however, is the state of the restroom. It is not clean at all, which is disappointing and off-putting.

Despite these issues, there are still some standout items on the menu, such as the Japanese Ice Coffee and the Kopi Tanggal Tua, both of which are highly recommended.

A coffee shop designed beautifully with strong traditional accent of its main building. The sitting area surrounds the main building and the capacity is big. Located in the centre of Denpasar and near some of universities make it a very strategic place to hang out. The price there is quite affordable. I bought my hot cappuccino for IDR 22k without any extra service charge or tax and they provide free mineral water. They also offer manual brew. The staff there are friendly and helpful. Despite its main building, I also found it unique when I noticed that they use portafilter to replace some stuff like faucet and doorknob. Though according to my opinion that their cappuccino is not that special, it is a good coffee shop to visit...

The first weeks they opened the place it was good and quiet with the traditional house and big garden and rabbits jumping and all. And the price was cheap too, still is. Now the place looks like a night market, but not in a good way. It seems like the owner stopped caring about the place's cleanliness and service. Even most of the rabbits are gone, only few left and they look frustrated. Some drinks in the menu are usually no longer on sale. Sometimes there's some teenagers hanging around and playing guitar and singing out loud and all....
