My first ever all 5-star review!!!

This place is amazing!!! Once again, the classic Balinese style from outside is so misleading. From the front, it looks small and full of bushes... but once you step in, it’s a whole different world! I really love the open air design. So nice!!!

And the food... Wow. Every item on the menu feels unique. Take the Sate Lilit for example, it has crunchy little bits inside. I was surprised to find out they mix crushed crispy skin into the dough. So clever and tasty!

The kikil is really loaded with meat. And it's super tender!!!

Honestly, I could write pages to express how much I love this place, but that would take maybe 15 minutes to read. So I’ll just say one sentence in exchange ,"You all must try it yourself to know why I say this!!!"

The staff were generally polite and helpful. Only one small hiccup, the person helped take pictures for me and my friends, but she didn’t check the lighting. I was also careless, only to check the photos at home, they were ruined by backlight. Too bad.

Still, no doubt I will come back. I will recommend this place to my friends. You guys...

Came here to try what’s the rave about on Instagram but result was underwhelming. Ordered the “Paket Pisah Komplit” and it came out full of variety but was rather cold. Typically, menu like this gets served freshly made and in room temperature but not here. The “lawar” vegetable and the satay tasted like they just came out of the chiller. The soup was also somewhat under seasoned as well. Thankfully they are fairly priced.

Following that the atmosphere was very confusing as there was an electronic dance music blaring out of speaker in the coffee counter speaker. Seems like the place is trying to crossbreed a coffee shop with a typical Babi Guling shop at a cost of overall look and feel. I hope they can work on the branding and section the 2 accordingly.

We were recommended to Babi Guling Golden by our local driver, Lik. The food is great - portions are just nice and I definitely recommend getting the set as it’ll allow you to try a variety of their babi offerings! For their babi guling, we heard it is usually best to come during lunch. That’s when the pork is crispiest and more portions will be available. So definitely go early to get your hands on it!
