Il Pomodoro — Restaurant in Denpasar Utara

I've visited this pasta restaurant twice, and it's quickly becoming one of my favorites! Definitely much better than most pasta places in the city. The food is delectable, especially anything creamy and mushroomy. Their Parmesan is rich and flavorful. Pasta is al dente. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, complemented by a pleasing color palette inside. While I enjoyed most dishes, I do feel the carbonara could use more meat but the panna e funghi was super delicious. Their desserts are also an absolute treat. Gelato tastes better than most places too. Definitely worth a visit! Highly recommend!

Updated: After coming here more than 5 times, I think the meat-types pasta dishes could use a little more meat. Sometimes I feel the waitresses could use a little more smile, too. And there have been inconsistencies in some dishes. For example, I ordered carbonara one time and it had a good amount of parmesan but the other time I had to even spend for a small cup of parmesan because I couldn't find any on the dish.

But still, one of the better pasta...

And of course we asked a custom pizza for our wedding & it turns out absolutely nice When we bite on it The text nor the paste didnt drip at all & the size is just right We had an absolute fun taking pictures with the pizza

I had such a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The service was excellent, especially from Dewa, who was incredibly helpful and friendly throughout my visit. The pizza dough was perfectly cooked and had a delightful flavor—definitely one of the best I’ve tried, and the prices are surprisingly affordable for an Italian restaurant.

I added Emmental cheese as an extra topping on my pizza, but the distinct flavor of the cheese didn’t come through as much. It might have been overpowered by the tomato and mushroom toppings, but overall, the pizza was still delicious!

As for the dessert, the chocolate sprinkle donut brought back childhood memories—it tasted homemade, with generous hagelslag on top, just like something my mom would make.

The atmosphere was also fantastic, making it a perfect spot to relax and unwind. I’ll definitely...
