one of the best places to eat in Jogja!

I’ve tried their pasta and their bento box and all of them are really really good. the creaminess and taste of their carbonara was just spot on and their bento box was delicious. their matcha is the best in town. their food did not disappoint!

the vibe of the restaurant itself is perfect. it’s not loud, not crowded at all, it’s perfect for a small group hangout, formal meeting, and also a great place for studying. the place is semi-fancy so it’s perfect for those who want to eat somewhere a little bit fancy without having to put on formal clothes, or for those who want to go somewhere fancy for their Instagram photos 😆

the prices are probably a little bit more expensive compared to other places, it’s not so cheap for Jogja standards, but the price is worth it given the quality of the food. I personally would rather pay a little bit more for a comfortable place and delicious food than pay cheap price for bad food and place.

We got there in the evening and many of the tables were covered with laptops and books, and seats empty. That was an infuriating sight for a very hungry group of us. The cafe is clearly frequented by students who hog the tables for studying simply by ordering 1 cup of coffee. When we asked the service staff if we could get a table because we ACTUALLY wanted to EAT the food, we were outright told that our only option was to sit at the sofa with a low coffee table. How were we supposed to eat anything that way? As great as their menu looked, I thought the experience was terrible. We left...

The chairs and tables are fewer than some coffee shops. Although the manual brewed coffee is a little bit pricey, the taste still nice. There is a sharing table, but the chairs are stick to the table (it will vibrates the chair and table when there are people who like to move their legs when sitting). There are outside chairs for smoker or someone who loves to hear the crowded of Jalan Kaliurang and enjoys the breeze.
