Taigersprung Dimsum — Restaurant in Depok

This place serves a variety of dimsum dishes, Hong Kong noodles, Hainanese rice, and several drinks that are typical of Chinese food.

Overall, the dim sum is served warm with soy sauce and chili oil adding to the taste and making it even more delicious to eat.

For Mie HK Bebek Panggang, it is served on a plate with separate soup. The soup here is quite strong because there is a mixture of boiled ginger, better if it is chicken or duck broth. It was a bit disappointing because the bok choy were only cut in small pieces and served on a plate. It would have been better if it had been served in a bowl and with lots of bok choy.

The room here feels quite cramped, starting from entering, because you will immediately find the cashier's desk, dining room, and kitchen.

Overall, I recommend the food here for those of you who are looking for Dimsum, even though the prices offered are...

Update Oktober 2022 : Server udah lebih profesional. Gelasnya kemarin juga udah bukan plastik lagi, tapi udah gelas kaca. Makanan masih seenak setahun lalu.

Ada menu baru yg aku suka banget, Ngohiang, dia ada di menu mie nya sama bisa beli ala carte. Klo beli ala carte 25rb, bisa buat lauk makan berdua di rumah hahahahaha

Pertama-tama saya ucapkan terima kasih kepada Taigersprung yg telah mewujudkan salah satu mimpi saya, yaitu nyicip Xiao Long Bao. It was tasty and satisfying, I really like it! Thank you for having this menu, definitely will come back again for it 🖤

Bakmie Cha Siu nya juga enak. Potongan ayamnya tebal and so juicy. Kuahnya enak, oily tapi untuk aku nggak terlalu eneg 👌🏻

Bakpao Telur Asin ternyata taste nya manis ya. Tadinya aku pikir bakal gurih asin gitu, kayak klo beli makanan ada saos telur asinnya 🤣 Gara-gara itu jadi agak kaget pas makan. Manis tapi enak kok, kayak custard gitu.

Nah, Cha Siu Bao nya yg kurang nendang. Bumbu ayamnya kurang kerasa, lebih dominan manis dari pao nya.

Itu tentang makanannya ya.

Klo tempatnya sebenernya keren. Ada detail yg oke, kayak telpon jadul di wastafel, terus tempelan poster-poster klasik yg jadi background favorit buat tempat foto.

Tapi atmosfirnya dingin. Nggak warm. Selain temboknya abu-abu semen bikin gelap, dan adem sebenernya, somehow atmosfirnya kurang welcoming gitu.

The servers...kayak nggak ada senyum. Iya, pake masker bibirnya nggak keliatan, tapi klo senyum tetep kelihatan kok dari mata. It's like they're too cool to be friendly, idk.

Tadi juga pas baru dateng pake motor, udah diliatin lekat-lekat gitu sama salah satu server. Ngapa sih Mas, belum pernah liat emak-emak pake mantol plastik kresek jajan di tempat gaul? 🤣

Yaaa mungkin mood-nya kepengaruh cuaca kali ya, karena hujan sore-sore gloomy gitu dan mungkin Mas nya yg ngeliatin tadi tuh keinget aja sama jemurannya di kosan.

Lots of recommendations to eat dimsum here. Finally my friends and I tried it. The place is not so wide, it only consists of one floor, indoor is more dominant. I didn't see any toilets and prayer rooms. Friendly service. Order system here via barcode scan and message through the application. We ordered various kinds of dimsum, namely Hakaw, dumplings, fried spring rolls, fried dumplings, salted egg buns, sesame buns, charsiu chicken fried noodles. Everything is delicious! Taste according to the price, but the portion is small. I don't see several choices of chili sauce on the table, such as chili oil and the choice of drinks is also not too much.
