Tom Sushi Pakuwon Mall Jogja — Restaurant in Depok

My recent visit to Tom Sushi on a weekday left me with mixed feelings. The restaurant, albeit quite small, was teeming with customers, and I found myself in a queue for approximately an hour. To add to that, there was a strict one-hour dining limit in place.

When it came to pricing, Tom Sushi fell within the range of what you’d expect at a sushi place. However, I couldn’t help but feel that the taste didn’t quite live up to my expectations. While most of the dishes were enjoyable, the tuna sushi left a rather odd aftertaste that I couldn’t quite put my finger on.

Ultimately, the experience left me questioning whether I’d return to Tom Sushi in the future. In all honesty, my answer leans towards “no.” While it’s not a bad place by any means, it didn’t offer the exceptional sushi experience I had hoped for, especially considering the wait and time...

This place was my favorite until they opened the new dine in area , i went on holiday and we had to dine in the newly opened place, the sushi belt was literally empty same few items running for 1 hour , so we order per menu and again the food take more than 40 mins and not came 1 time , every 15 mins 1 small plate and made me feel so bad about eating , waiters were so busy can’t respond even if we ask for plate or spoon … the surprise was that the next near place (old dine in place ) while we are leave we so the belt full of sushi and everything going right, so i think the problem only in the new dine in area. I had a great time at Tom Sushi Pakuwon Mall Jogja. The sushi was fresh, delicious, and varied, with options ranging from nigiri, sashimi, maki, to tempura. The service was fast, friendly, and efficient, and the ambiance was cozy and modern. The price was also reasonable for the quality and quantity. They have a conveyor belt that rotates the sushi plates to all the tables in the restaurant. The plates have different colors for different prices, Yellow for Rp 10.000, Red for Rp 15.000, Blue for 20.000, and Black for Rp 25.000.
