Kopi Nako Depok — Restaurant in Depok

To be honest, overly overrated. There’s nothing special about the taste of food and beverages, some of the menu I tried tasted so-so.

For the big meal options, they have sooo many options but 70% of the menu will be available starting in the evening. Not so convenient for orders during the day. The menu seems boring and not really interesting. Though the snacks are available all the time.

Another thing that was pretty disappointing was the service. Some of the staff were not friendly. I don’t mind them being unfriendly, but at least provide clear information/instruction which menu will be delivered by the staff and which should be picked up on our own. It’s really confusing that they have two places: Kopi Nako and Warung Nasi Nako and they cross-sell the menu. That’s why for some menu we have to pick up ourselves when it’s ready. And the staff seem too lazy to explain clearly about this.

Also, I was quite irritated when one of the staff told me that we’re not allowed to move/combine two tables. They said we could only do that if we had made a reservation D-1. When I told him that I’m fine with splitting the tables, he suddenly approached me again telling me that it’s okay to combine the tables but we had to leave a debit/credit card downstairs for an open bill. But it was really unclear how the order procedure could be like for our friends to order at the cashier. Our friends ended up ordering on their own. Really complicated.

The only plus is the atmosphere, I admit. They split smoking area and non-smoking area (indoors). The indoor area is pretty comfy for a focus time. The two places are both spacious with huuugeee tables. We can also make a reservation for a gathering but they require minimum order 100k per person.

Overall, price is reasonable also. Parking...

Came with expectations, left with disappointment

LOCATION I came with my family at around 1 pm. There are 2 buildings side to side.

SERVICE The staffs from the parking guy to the ones behind the counter were unfriendly. We were a bit shocked. We've been to several cafes around the premise and Nako is the only one with the attitude. However there was still a young lady that quite helpful. Nako should employs more like her.

We went to the left building (black) because it's air-conditioned. We chose our seat and asked for the menu.

They said they only serve coffee and side dishes. If we want rice or main course, we should order and eat them at the white building.

We asked if we can order food from the white building and eat it on the black one. The buildings were only meters apart. They said we can't because IT WOULD DISTURB OTHER CUSTOMERS. What???

So I took my family to the white building and scanned the QR menus. Once we decided the food, I went to the cashier to order. But the lady on the counter (with sour face) said the menus from the QR code only available from 4 pm. Since it was still 1 pm, they only served the buffet . The buffet only had 5 or 6 meals left and far from appealing.

I instantly took my family left...

Hallooo warga Depok 🙋🏻‍♀️🙋🏻‍♀️ Happy banget kita Kopi Nako dan Warung Nako buka di Depok, karna kita jadi ga perlu repot dan jauh-jauh ke bogor 😁 Lokasinya ada di Jalan Margonda Raya No. 28, pokoknya di samping BNI Margonda. Pake gmaps aja ya gengss supaya ga nyasar, karna memang plang tulisannya itu kecil jadi harus agak jeli liatnya. Lebih luas dibandingkan dengan yang di Bogor dan parkiran pun sangat memadai, jadi aman yang mau bawa rombongan pake bis 😅. Tersedia smoking area dan non smoking, dijamin aman deh dari segi tempat menurut kita.

Manual Brew (29k) Manual Brew ini menggunakan biji kopi Situwangi, Jawa Barat. Jadi sudah tau lah ya kalau ini jenis kopi yang sangat ringan 😃

Es Kopi Nako (23k) Untuk Es Kopi Nako promo buy1get1 lhoo gengss sampai tanggal 7 Desember. Dari segi rasa, jujur Es Kopi Nako-nya menurut kita jauuhh lebih enak dibandingkan saat pertama kita beli yang di Bogor. Meskipun rerbilang creamy, tapi enak gitu dan lebih balance hmmmm Recommended 🤩

Es Krim Matcha Nako (10k) Pas kesini kebetulan bawa bocil, jadi kitapun mencari menu yang pasti di sukai anak kecil. Rasa Es Krim Matcha-nya enaaak bangeett dan susunya cukup kuat hmmm 😋 Sekilas sih sepertinya ini ada campuran durian ya hihi Recommended 🤩

Pisang Goreng (15k) Untuk Pisang Goreng rasanya biasa aia dan ini jujur buka pesanan kita, kita itu pesan Piscok dan bukan Pisang Goreng ini. Kita sudah order, sudah nunggu lebih dari satu setengah jam tapi masih dibilang "belum ready" 😑. Sampai akhirnya salah satu masnya kasih kita Pisang Goreng ini. Kita mau komplain lagi pun rasanya sudah lelah. Kita sangat memaklumi kalau mereka masih ribet, karna mungkin baru buka jadi pihak kitchen pun juga kaget. Semoga ini akan menjadi sebuah evaluasi untuk mereka, sangat disayangkan kalau pelayanannya masih akan seperti ini di waktu mendatang.

WARUNG NAKO

Kebetulan masih soft opening, mereka juga ada promo sampai tanggal 7 Desember. Jadi kita bisa pilih satu sayur, satu lauk, satu gorengan dan satu sambal harganya 15k. Udah lumayan banget kaann? 😃

Kita pilih Nasi Merah, Ikan Dori Pedas, Bakwan Jagung, Tumis Toge dan Sambal Matah. Teman kita pesan Nasi Putih, Ayam Goreng, Perkedel, Tumis Toge dan Sambal Terasi. Secara rasa, kita suka bangett siih disini. Rasanya enaak dan pas gituu, pokoknya rumahan banget laah. Kita suka banget dengan Ikan Dori Pedas dan Sambal Matahnya hmmm yummeehh to the meh 😋 Recommended 🤩

Secara keseluruhan, kita sudah suka dengan rasa kopi, rasa makanan dan fasilitas disini. Semoga bisa menjadi masukan juga perihal pelayanan yang menurut kita masih kurang baik di Kopi Nako.
