Lucas Restaurant — Restaurant in East Nusa Tenggara

They have very much racist staff. I did not eat there yet (but was considering to go there), but I am grateful that I did not!

I was just walking by where their staffs who wore their white uniform were sitting right on the stairs (A bit unprofessional but still tolerable). Suddenly one of the girls (the staff) greet us with "Hi" followed by racial chinese slurs to my father and I when we were walking. The others just laughed it off as if this is something usual.

I actually planned to go to the restaurant at some point during my stay in Bajawa, but how can I expect a good service and atmosphere if that is how their staff treat people? To top it off, I am not even...

Had a tofu soup with rice, soup was kinda oversalted but bearable together with rice. Rice was undercooked though. And a day later I am having stomach issues, feeling tired, there must have been something wrong besides the undercooked rice.. It was also quite expensive compared to standard local Warung prices. Service was good, people really friendly and environment comfortable.

Maybe an outlier, not sure, but my day has been a bit rough so I feel like sharing my experience here and can’t justify more...

This is not the same place as Lucas Lodge&Restaurant. It is the same owner but this one is one the first floor.

Furniture is exactly the same as the other one.

We ordered the grilled food. If you don’t like a smokey area this is not your place. They grill the food inside the tiny restaurant. But it tasted oke. Still a very small portion so order a starter or something!
