Roemah Marly — Restaurant in Gorontalo

The interior of the restaurant is really beautiful. But the service is very poor and the taste of the food is not so good, I would give 3 out of 10 for the taste. My friends and I reserved the place at 3.30 PM, we gave them the list of the food we would like to have and we told them that we needed it to be ready at 5.30. when we arrived there at 5.30, the only ones that we found on our table were 2 mineral water and 1 avocado juice. The food came late around 7 PM. I also ordered avocado smoothies and asked the waiter if they use sugar, and he said “for sure we don’t use sugar for avocado smoothies here in our restaurant”. Getting an answer like that, made me really happy, so I ordered avocado smoothie, but when it came, it was very sweet and I could feel the sugar on my tongue. So I asked them to change it. And when I got the new one, I got a bitter avocado smoothie. I would not recommend this place. But I hope reading this review will make the owner realize that they need to do something about it. Providing training for their employees and make sure that they provide real food if they want to survive in food and beverage business since Gorontalo has lots of new restaurants...

I was here attending break fasting feast during Ramadhan n it was packed with ppl. You have to order the menu way before the feast begin yet it didn’t guaranteed you would have what you want. Typical ramadhan. The restaurant lies in place that rather unstrategic but easy to find, parking is easy, roomy enough to hold big festivities. The food ? Hmm... it is above avarage for Gorontalo area since Gorontalo usually swarmed only with ‘nasi kuning’ in all four corner of the city. So it’s like an oasis for everyone that have enough with ‘nasi kuning’. I shall come back to really taste the real Roemah Marly recipe with not...

New place to eat around here but very slow service. The table take 10 minutes to be cleaned. The orders already pass 20 minutes but none to be served even though just a mineral water.

Well, if you're not ready for this kind of situation don't bother to come.

Canceled all my order, 35 minutes with nothing to come. The waiters totally not helping. The owner need to rethinking...
