Almost as long as I can remember in my life for 20-ish years, this place never change. Still the same emerald ceiling, white table, and side-garage that became the kitchen. And the taste never change too! It has stand through many trials and tribulations over the decades and still, it's one of the best Asinan I've ever eat. But I still hope one things change tho...

THE QUEUE. Oh my god, the queue.. I'd rather kill myself, wait to be reincarnated as a genius physician, create time machine, and be the first in line to bring that s**t home. There's this trick tho, if you eat there ala carte, they're service is pretty quick. You can be seated, eat and out in less than 30mins. You can also order the take-out while eating, and it's quicker than waiting in the take-out line. So, win-win! Asinan Betawi H Masyur @Kamboja, East Jakarta is the best Asinan Sayur in town. Asinan betawi has different taste compare to Asinan bogor. Asinan betawi has a peanut on its sauce. The asinan itself contain tofu, lettuce, cabbage, cucumber & chip. It taste fresh and sweet. The chip also excelent. The sauce itself taste sweet, tasty and spicy. You have to be patient when you go there especialy during rush hour (lunch time). Their asinan buh also very nice. It contain bengkoang, pineapple, kedondong. It taste sweet and sour with a bit spicy. The portion is quite a lot. Usualy I ate 1 portion for 2 person. But sometimes i can ate 1 portion for myself. Price is cheap, Asinan sayur is idr20k and asinan buah is ide18k. Asinan sayur betawi is traditional food from Jakarta. The taste is very good and you can store it in the refiregerator...

The taste is undoubtedly tasty, the peanut sauce is my favorite. I like it better when it's served cold. If you come in peak hours, the queue will be pretty long. I hate to say that the service for take away is not satisfying during peak hours. I once bought five pcs asinan, yet when I arrived at home and checked the food, I only got 4 pcs :( I hope they check the amount of asinan before deliver them to the customers.
