If you want to try an authentic Minahasan food, you come to the right place. They have a variety of dishes starting from babi rica, cakalang suwir, bunga pepaya, etc. And just like any authentic Minahasan restaurant, they tend to give you a really big portion of rice and meat. Just lovely things from the owner and the staff (but really, the portion is so big that probably it’s more than enough for 2-3 person). They sell a couple of snacks too, such as panada and cucur. The panada is big, fluffy, and have enormous fillings.

For the place, it is quite homey and comfortable. There are around 4-5 table. Beware for any first timer to not passin by the place, since you need to take a long turnaround if you didn’t spot this place on...

I'm a regular here, Altje and Max are great cooks, profesional and friendly. They treated customers like family. They have varieties of Minahasa dishes, with authentic recipe as in no fusion. Among so many dishes, I love Saut (kotei), cakalang saus, redbean soup, tinoransak, nasi ja, and for the dessert the red bean sharded ice is highly recommended. Bapao kacang tanah...

Babi kecapnya paling enak. Dagingnya tidak alot dan manis kecapnya pas. Babi wokunya juga enak, tidak terlalu pedas, jadi masih bisa dinikmati oleh yang tidak terlalu suka pedas. Babi tinorangsaknya juga enak, tapi ini lebih pedas dibandingkan babi wokunya.

Porsi nasinya sangat besar, mungkin bisa untuk dimakan dua orang. Sayur sop kacang merahnya juga enak, terasa segar dan gurih. Sayang isian daging babinya pelit. Satu porsi sop kacang merah cuma dapat satu potong daging babi yang berlemak. Padahal...
