Ayam Goreng Kalasan Borobudur — Restaurant in Jakarta

The most famous ayam goreng kalasan in Jelambar, it’s also one of ‘legendary’ food here. I ate here since my childhood, eating their food always give nostalgic feeling for me.

They keep the kitchen open and clean, the dining area also quite clean. Food-serving is fast, and always accurate. All the servers are really nice. You will see the boss at the cashier all the time.

All their foods: ayam goreng, tempe, tahu, ampla, usus, kulit, and the famous kriukan👍🏻Free refill kriuk and it’s really good. You can eat only rice with their kriuk all day. Be careful when ordering ampela, tahu, usus, and kulit because it come in portion, not pieces. I don’t really recommend their sayur asem, but it comes in big portion can feed 3/4 people. Their sambal isn’t really spicy for me.

Everything is freshly fried after you order, chicken breast was moist, so good. You can always ask for more of the crunchy bits (they are not stingy).
