Bakmi Ace — Restaurant in Jakarta

One of the good tasty, generous portion noodle. Love it then, love it now. They somehow keep their food taste consistent.

This is singkawang noodle, with some shrimps, meatball, beef tripe. Love it, specially when you request some additional spice son son lat lat to make it spicier.

update in 2022: after all these years... this is still one of my personal fave singkawang noodle. Consistent quality. Love it's broth, and noodle texture.

Very crowded during the weekend, but many tables also, just be patient :) it is worth the wait.

Update per 11 maret, 2023. Heavily disappointed, the noodle is wet and too soft. I hope next time i came here, things could go back...

I used to bring my mom to have lunch here. We used to order their Sop Sapi. But if we are too full, we will simply order Kwetiau Kuah or ther Bakmi Udang.

My fave is actually their bakmi special or kwetiau kuah special. Special here means more toppings provided, but of course you need to pay more for this 'special menu".

But it is worth to try.

If you want to come here, please avoid lunch time especially weekend because it is a bit difficult to find parking lot. Once last thing, this resto typically Singkawang (my home town) resto, which is no Air...

If you expect usual noodle with pork or chicken and tastes salty, don't come here! this restaurant serves sour-tasted noodle and I've no idea how the noodle tastes really good and "matched" (i'm not sour flavor lover). Small portion, but you can order jumbo portion. The noodle is served usually with prawn and pork, and also beef. Oh and please spare extra time to wait because it is really crowded. I had ever spent an hour just to wait my noodle to come, but the taste is worth...
