Bakmie Bangka "Amin" — Restaurant in Jakarta

Not really my cup of tea. But maybe their bakmi bangka is authentic thus why their review is quite high.

We tried their bakmi bangka, pempek (kulit, kapal selam, and lenjer), and tahu kok.

Their bakmi bangka was topped with sauteed cubed chicken, bawang goreng (fried Indonesian shallots), bean sprouts, and green onion. The overall taste profile for me was slightly sweet and smoky.

The tahu kok was great. The soup was infused with garlic oil. The meat in the tofu was soft (a bit too soft for my liking. I like my tahu kok to have a more chewy-tender texture rather than soft). The fishcake and fishball had great texture and tasted great.

Their pempek was too fishy for my liking, to the point that their kapal selam pempek meat tasted a bit sour to my taste. After the meal, my mouth had quite a fishy aftertaste. This may be a testament of how much fish they use in their pempek, but I personally prefer a more balanced taste in my pempek with less fishy aftertaste.

Service was great. They were efficient.

I think they serve good quality food that sadly doesn’t fit...

hmmm...to the point ya, kog aq ngerasa B aja , org2 kog pd bilang enak makanya penasaran krn tulisannya bakmi bangka...jd ekspektasiku udh gede (pasti enak bakmi bangka sih). ..

mgkn jg aq salah pilih menu ya...aq pilih yg bakmi ayam pangsit & tmnku pesan bakmi ayam yg standard aja yg biasa direkomendasikan pokoknya...krn laperrr aq order yg cpt klr deh

ada pempek bangka jg..gk tau enak gk ...takut di luar ekspektasi lg nih..

oyaaa bakmi ini halal dan hrgnya terjangkau utk ukuran mall 30k utk bakmi ayam ...pantesan mgkn rame ya smpe ngantri daftar dulu trs tar order menu sm mbaknya... (ada kursi disediain di pinggir) tar klo udh ada yg kelar mkn baru deh yg udh daftar blh duduk...bgs sih diatur jg pd gk rebutan meja & bgss kog rapih sistemnya kerja pegawai2nya jg cepet...

klo penasaran boleh cobain ...letaknya di lt.2 pake escalator lsg deh cari pojokan2 blkg pasti ktmu kgk jauh dr...

I ordered mie bangka pangsit and mie kuah ikan. For the 30-35k price, the soup is great. It is flavorful and warm for this rainy season. The topping of fish and chicken given is also generous.

Bit of feedback for the mie bangka, as the yamin version (noodle with soy sauce) is not as flavorful as the broth. Luckily we dine in so we get some condiments to...
