If I can give this a lower rating, I will. But sadly I can't. I was only there for around 15-30 minutes-ish, and i can already see how bad the handler is. My dog is not scared of people, but after needing to be handled by the handler for a checkup before staying at their hotel, my dog got scared of the handler to the point that she (a big golden retriever) needs to put me as a barrier between her and the handler.
If this was your average, cheap groomer/pet hotel I would tolerate the behavior (telling myself, maybe they don't know better or that they don't get proper training) but when your place is PRICEY (compared to other places) and you have a ton of dogs in your hands and you proudly tell us, in instagram, that you are featured in popular TV channels, I expect that YOU'D KNOW WHEN A DOG IS SCARED AND WHEN TO STOP. Mostly after your handler hold my dog's leash too hard to the point that you're basically choking her and after you say "I have handled a lot of dogs for a long time."
NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS, YOU SHOULD KNOW THAT A DOG'S SAFETY, CARE, AND COMFORTABLE LEVELS comes first. Not just choke my dog after for a good minute when she was refusing to do something. I mean i don't care if you take her paw or push her gently to follow BUT pulling on her leash so hard that she was really in an uncomfortable position (not sure if she's chocked but judging by her behavior after, i feel like she is)?? NOT COOL. NOT COOL AT ALL.
All through my time there, I felt that everything just does not add up. But you know what, I just played it cool and being honest even though your policy is odd, I would follow it at the end of the day. But just because of that one interaction, yeah no. I was about to leave my dog there for 3 days maybe 4 by then what would happen? Will the handlers choke my dog again? Or force her to do stuff? It's just, it's a shame because for a place that looks like they love and care for dogs so much, they really suck at making a good impression to...
Read morewent there twice. nice interior, visitors can meet/play with lots of types of doggos. foods were just okish. witnessed one male staff hit one poodle while he's grooming this furry friend. he didn't notice i was watching him as i was sitting by the window. yupe, clear view. avoid weekends and public holidays. not sure if they are implementing covid protocol as seems they kept accepting visitors though the place was nearly packed, so I rushed leave the place. second time there was to pick my friend's dog up. long queues at counter. there were another 3 people in the counter. one female staff asked how she can help me. i said i want to pick my friend's dog up. she contacted other staff via walkie talkie. without saying anything to me, not even tell me to wait, she then talked to a lady BEHIND me, assisted her and without hesitate this lady walked to counter caused more people squeezed in counter caused me stepped back from counter and as if i was back to queue. after waited pretty long, another female staff asked how she can help, i said pick up a dog and she said oh please wait, the dog is not ready yet. i started to raise my tone of voice : "if the dog is not ready yet, your friend should have told me and tell me to wait instead of assisting the lady behind me. she was not even say any words to me. i had to step back as it's too crowded in this counter" guess what this first female staff? she kept writing as if she's not hearing anything. she's not even 10 cm away from the other staff. yo! your counter is not that...
Read moreIf you’re planning to come here, better after 11am since the dogs are still groomed before that.
The place has 3 areas:
Cafe: the area where you can eat, drink and chill. Husky, pomenarian, yorkshire terrier, and corgi is in this area. It’s spacious and good place to just chill. You can bring your dog here too to socialize but this the only area outside dogs are allowed.
Dogs lounge: this area is where you can interact more with the smaller dogs like pug, dachshund, shih tzu, white terrier, bischon, and miniature poodle. The dogs are friendly and some are even eager to jump in your lap to sleep. But better to leave your bag in another room or behind the glass wall because some of the dogs will chew on the accessories of your bag. Don’t bring any shiny or hairy accessories because the dogs are attracted to it. The staff are very swift with cleaning up pees and poops in the area 👏
Pigs den: the area is outdoor which makes the place less smelly. The pigs are huge and quite docile. The only problem was when you want to get out. The pigs seems to know where the exit it and blocked the exit gate. Thankfully the staff helped out get out 😂
Overall the place is a good place to visit for people who don’t have dogs but wanted to play with them. The downside of the place are (1) that there is no place to place your bags outside of the dogs reach (so the dogs don’t chew on it) and (2) no place to wash your feet (there is toilet but the floor seems to be design as a...
