Famili Ria — Restaurant in Jakarta

Famiili Ria is a famous family Chinese food restaurant in Sunter area. They provide private dining and karaoke room as well. For the dishes, they serve variant of vegetables, seafood, chicken, duck, pork, beef, bean curd, noodles, soup, and many more dishes with the size small (S), medium (M), and large (L).

This time, we ordered the food by using food delivery service to home. All of the dishes were packed well.

Here are what we tried :

Soup Pangsit Ikan The clear and a bit oily soup with mini dumplings, meatballs, and fish cakes. All of them is made from fish. This one tastes good! Don't forget to serve it hot for the best serving.

Tiram Goreng Telur I am a big fan of oyster omelette, so most of the time when a Chinese food restaurant serves this menu, I will definitely order this one 😄 They didn't cut the omelette, so that we need to cut it by ourselves. There are big oysters mostly in the middle of the omelette.

Hekeng Goreng This fried dish is made from shrimp and pork. The taste isn't that much savoury, but still good!

Mie Goreng The fried noodles served with shrimp, fish meatballs, fried...

Parahhhhhh… one of the worst eating experience. Ordered Caisim yang keluar batang saja. Order kodok goreng mentega, 40 menit ga keluar2 ditanya sampai 3 kali dijawabnya lagi dimasak. Akhirnya baru dibilang kodoknya habis????!!!!

The so-called manager gave an excuse that he was busy elsewhere and not able to check the kitchen. What an excuse. What about your team that did not check the order appropriately.

And worse of all, they don’t know how to handle complaints appropriately. Making up excuses rather than quickly admitting fault and correct the situation.

Dirty toilet and hand washing area. Plenty of staff but clueless and ineffective.

Taste of food:...

We have always come to Famili Ria everytime I come to Jakarta. The food variety is great. The food taste is delicious. Today I took my son from US to come and dine at Famili Ria. He likes all the dishes we've ordered. Pak Mamin, as our server, was very attentive and helpful. He really made sure that our cups were full and replaced our plates as soon as it seemed full. He was an awesome server. Eversince they renovated the place, the ambience was comfortable and nice...still keep oriental feature. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant to have a nice and delicious food...
