better to dine in at other branches, service very bad, luckily food still good

dined here with my husband on saturday night. Arrived 7.30 pm, ordered Sirloin for myself and Chicken steak for my husband. Waiter who took our order looked distracted, kept looking behind toward cashier area.

Anyways my Sirloin arrived 7.45 pm , I finished the Sirloin by 8.10 and my husband’s Chicken steak has not arrived.

We asked one of the waiters in white shirt (could be a trainee) about the Chicken steak, she said she will check but did not come back to us to update.

We asked the same waiter in white shirt again the 2nd time, how is the chicken steak, and I asked whether the order is in or maybe they forgot our order, waiter answered that yes the order is in, it’s being cooked

10 mins later steak hasn’t arrived, I signaled to another waiter in Cashier area not wearing white shirt, I assumed she’s a permanent employee. There was also another employee in black shirt. Both of them saw me asking for them, and didn’t come.

I had to signaled a few more times, and the waiter came to me. I asked for the chicken steak for the third time, she said the order was not in. They didnt receive any chicken steak order from me. She said sorry but didnt seem really sorry and only offered if we still want it they’ll put in the order now. By that time it was already 8.20 pm and we had to be somewhere else by 8.30 pm so we refused.

My husband just wanted to leave that place asap, he hasnt had any dinner. But I felt like the way they handled the situation was not right and this should be communicated to manager or owner. So I approached another lady who seemed to be the host seating people, I explained to her the situation, I think she spoke to a guy who seemed to be the owner. I think he instructed her to just throw in a FREE BREAD as I was about to pay.

We don’t need the free bread. We just felt like everyone from trainee, another waiter, manager, owner or whoever lack remorse and didn’t really feel sorry or feel responsible about what happened to the missed order. The owner shouldve come to us and sincerely apologize. Feels like owner and rest of employees just didnt care at all.

I pass by this place all the time and have been wanting to try it out. Today, I was hungry and finally decided to give it a go. Sadly though, it was a major disappointment.

First, the atmosphere: the place is old and outdated, with no sense of the quality you’d expect for the price they’re charging.

The food? Below mediocre. I ordered the steak, and it was slightly tough, the sauce was watery and lacked any strong flavour, and the vegetables, especially the carrots looked old and unappetizing. If you’re someone who enjoys good steak or beef dishes, avoid this place. For the same price, you can easily find restaurants that deliver WAY better quality and flavour.

The service wasn’t any better. I specifically asked for my water to be brought with my food, yet one server brought it early, well before my meal arrived. Clearly, there’s either miscommunication among the staff or they’re just not paying attention.

Overall, this place was a waste of money and time. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Save your money and go somewhere else where you’ll get real value and a better...

Ordered AUS Tenderloins, 1 with french fries, 1 with baked potatoes. Steak tasted great, strong flavours. Asked for medium, perfect temperature after around 1-2 minutes on the hotplate and no overcooking after. French fries were awesome; well seasoned, crispy and soft, textbook. Baked potato however, not so much; bland (they dis provide salt and peper), flavourless, tasted boiled. No complaints for original and mushroom sauce, great.

We also ordered garlic bread as an appetizer; crispy, salty, buttery and a little bit sweet, overall amazing. For drinks we got green tea and virgin mojito. Green tea is alright, I guess, nothing special, can refill hot water once. Virgin mojito... it's not to my liking; too sweet, flavours (lime and mint) not strong enough, kinda overpowered by the sugar, doesn't taste super refreshing. I prefer bsteak's virgin mojito any time any day.

We paid around Rp 740k for 2 person. Personally I love thicker cuts of steak (same weight just different thickness/lengths) from bsteak. Not to talk down Gandy or anything, they still...
