MALACCA TOAST Kedoya — Restaurant in Jakarta

Tried their pandan kaya toast, it was dry and not warm at all. I was expecting it to be at least fresh from the grill. Had their nasi campur ayam panggang malacca, the hainan rice was, again, dry. But the satay ayam was pretty good, flavorful and juicy.

One thing that truly needs to be improved is their service. They only have two servers inside, and these servers most of the time was out in the kitchen / outdoor seating (their kitchen is outside) so it was very hard to ask for assistance. They had this free refill program when you post a story on instagram (which I did). It took them like 20 mins or more to give me a refill; we had to constantly ask them and wait. Honestly really bad service, they lack in employees though the employees are pretty nice but maybe they are just...

Jujur sering banget lewatin tempat ini dan baru kali ini kesampean untuk nyoba.

Really loved the ambience, tempat duduk yg sofa super comfy. Food tasted really good.

What we ordered and a must try: Nasi Goreng Kampung Sambal Bawang (for those of you who really likes spicy things, this menu is definitely for you!) Roti Cube Stim Pandan Kaya (the bread is so moist and the combination of kaya and pandan is just perfect. Not too sweet, so it’s suitable to my taste)

If you’re looking for a refreshing drink on a sunny hot day, do their ice milo. Really refreshing and you can adjust the sugar level to your liking.

Layout: This is a very nice place. Though the outdoor dining is not too big. They have 2 different indoor areas. One on the ground floor and the other on their first floor. The outdoor dining also on the first floor with fans. We are sweating when we are having our lunch. Not recommend to seat outdoor is you do not like to sweat. But at night time should be ok.

Menu: Plenty of good variety. Most popular Malaysian food you can find it here. They presented it well - at least similar with the picture. It’s a big thing for me 😀.

Pricing: For us it is reasonable.

The only thing that we cant give 5 stars because one of the servers is not putting the mask properly. So it make us think about their...
