I gave five stars because other people seem to like this place like a lot and you can see it during the peak lunch/dinner time.
I was there earlier today. It was not that crowded and I had easy access to park my motorcycle. Going in I was not sure where I could order. Apparently I could order my meals sitting down by the table. So I did. I wrote what I wanted and it was not that long after that my meals came.
Looking at what I ordered I felt rather puzzled. By the time they served my drinks, it became apparent that what I wrote on my order form did not matter. Example: I ordered 2 glasses of tea and they served 1.
The taste of the Nasi Uduk is OK. In general, my expectation was not met, unfortunately.
Fast forward to pay time, I think the place is rather pricey AND the cashier was not aware that what was served for me was actually different in amount from what I ordered.
My suggestion: please be there (in front of the front kitchen behind the cashier area) when they prepare your order to make sure that you pay for what you eat.
May be my first and last visit...
Read moreOne word for this place is expensive, for me who used to buy food for myself at a price of 30,000 for a person. You can imagine since the first time I came the price is not explained in the menu, of course, my thinking is how expensive rice uduk is, certainly like the price in general. Ok I ordered fried chicken, fresh vegetables, sweet iced tea, and nasi uduk and an additional serving of tempeh and tofu. For a good taste because my appetite is large, my body is also large, I don't feel the rice uduk wrapped in banana leaves that are so small, I eat 4 pieces đľ. Finally I finished eating and would pay for it after I saw wow I had to pay 60,000 rupiah for that oh my god, not many words could be spoken and only buried so forced I had to pay. From this experience it is better to buy food at mcd, kfc or burger king at the same price guaranteed to be a safer place with ac and more full of heart glad that...
Read moreThis is the place for the best nasi Uduk aka coconut rice in town. The coconut rice wrapped with banana leafs, accompanied with fried chicken or shrimp in a stick, raw vegetables, peanut spicy sauce. Very lickin' finger. However due to its small place, the parking lot are not adequate during peak hours. Plus the guest must compete each other to be seated, since the restaurant doesn't care about it. Banana leafs scattered on the floor along with some chicken leftover bones, and tissue. They also wash their dishes on the floor. But, it seems the guest enjoy their eating, embracing all the adversities and disorganize. Human with...
