Puas Signature ( Coffee & Eatery ) — Restaurant in Jakarta

Came here for lunch and was very satisfied with their consistent quality since many decades ago.

This time I had Nasi goreng Kambing and Mee Goreng Kambing. They were sensational! With that unique smokey flavour from the right high temperature during cooking in the wok, each grain of the rice was packed of flavours. Unlike the Local Arabic influenced or Acehnese Nasi Goreng which were packed with spice blends, their Nasi goreng and mee goreng were super light in spices, almost like Chinese style but still retain the unique flavour and highlighting the succulent flavourful pieces of the mutton.

Teh Tarik here was on the lighter side but using high quality aromatic black tea powder, almost resembling Assamese-Mamri tea flavour. Very interesting. And they have a tiny sprinkling of cinnamon powder on top, that gives a normal teh tarik a complete different nuance, which can be omitted...

Cabang Martabak Puas Condet yang baru direnovasi. Sharing dengan barbershop dan lebih menonjolkan mesin kopinya. Menunya lebih sedikit dibanding Condet. Tapi masih menyediakan nasi kebuli kambing/ayam, roti john, samosa. Bisa order kambing bakar saja, tapi tidak ada di menu. Porsinya sedikit lebih kecil, tapi tetap lembut dan buttery. Dihidangkan tanpa acar dan lemon. Bisa minta dan gratis. Samosa juga sama, gurih dan berasa bumbu kari. Overall, tempat ini lebih ke tempat nongkrong, bukan restoran. Meskipun menunya lebih sedikit tapi tetap sama kualitasnya seperti di Condet. Oh ya selama puasa dapat takjil...
