This is the first Sentosa Seafood Market Restaurant. The food are really great. Friendly and helpful staff.
Recommended fresh seafood restaurant, located at Pluit and Sunter as Chinatown of Jakarta. VIP rooms available and reservation is a must on weekend. Limited parking lot shall be considered but taste are delicious.
The outside look of this restaurant is not so convincing, but many people drive to dine seafood here. There are some VIPs room for small group privacy. Upon arrival, choose what to order and the way it is cooked before go to the table. The food was very delicious and tasty, but a bit pricey. Recommended to bring family and guests. On street parking lots.
Excellent live seafood restaurant! Eat like the local. As many way to cook the seafood is as much different flavour that would be flooding our palette! Good food good price!
They serve fresh seafood with lots of variety types, although i am not sure if some of them are legally consumable. They sell some sea creatures I have never seen before elsewhere, but maybe that's why they attract lots of people from China mainland to have a meal there. The food taste are ok..just standard taste. They have quite lots of tables until 3rd floor, they even provide VIP rooms for group and reservable, however..I don't quite like the interior arrangement and atmosphere. It's very messy all around and kind of have a funny smell for the entire floor. Price... I wouldn't say it's cheap, I think they put the originsl price slightly higher then they give u 30% discount, well that's business.. lastly..it is hard to find a parking space here, and the street has many pickpocket incidents recently, so I suggest to park on the main street of Muara Karang and walk, preferable dont carry any expensive eye catching stuff, especially branded bag.. put everything in your pocket, that's the safetiest i...

since you actually read review, I will give a couple of suggestions:
The reason why there are more flies than what is considered normal for a seafood restaurant, is because most of the dining area really smell fishy, and I am talking raw fish, not cooked seafood. I am not sure whether it is the floor, the wall or the table, but I would suggest you to use cleaning liquid containing lemon or lime to get rid of the smell. Once the smell is taken care of, the flies will mostly gather only near the seafood storage area. Taping lemon grass at the bottom of each dining table will also help a lot with the smell problem and you will only need to replace them every 3 days, so this is a low cost solution.
The way you serve clams and other shellfish variations, makes the dishes felt expensive. They are served in thin sauce and spread on a large plate. While large plate works for serving fine dining courses, they serve as presentation platform for the artistic food. In the case of shellfish in thin sauce, using large plates only make it feels that the dish is "thin sauce with some shellfish topping", not "shellfish served with sauce". Read morePulau Sentosa seafood has 3 locations in Jakarta which is in Danau Sunter Barat, Pluit Karang Cantik and Daan Mogot. It is also have 1 location in Surabaya. For Sunter one, the operational hour starts at 11am until 10pm with last order at 9.30pm. They sell live seafood here such as fish (geroupa), prawn, crab, clamp (batik, scallop, kapak, dara). They have promotion for everyday (weekday and weekend) for 25% discount for live seafood. Due to the promotion then it is really crowded when lunch and dinner time. Suggestion, u need to come there when they open at 11am or around 2pm until 5pm or otherwise u will need to queue. Parking lot also not much. They have VIP room for meeting, birthday party, etc. When u come then u need to go to receptionist desk then they will create blank invoice with ur name & table number. After that, u need to go to live seafood showroom to order food and beverage. Then go to ur desk and waiting, while waiting u can take all chilli u like in the middle of the room. Their favourite menu are geroupa tim nyonya (texture of fish is good due to it is live one however the sauce not yet fill in the fish due to the cook is not too long), steam prawn with herbal soup (prawn is quite small but fresh), crab padang sauce (sauce little bit salty if u dont eat it with rice), grill squid (small portion), vegetable.
