Satu Lagi Bar — Restaurant in Jakarta

I go to Satu lagi bar quite often. Since,maybe 15 years ago. The place is better now. About the food, it was better before the renovation. They have less choice. The Margarita Pizza just so so, the Fish and Chips ok, the Yorkshire Pudding alright but a bit salty, there is a room for improvement. Soto ayam is great.., I think the Indonesian food taste better. Desserts mostly good. The place, the atmosphere is nice. It is a good place to hang out and relax. Not many bar in Jakarta are family friendly. We were starving like wolves and came for dinner, not drinks.

The Fish & Chips took a while but was worth it! crispy outside, soft inside, and non-greasy. Chunky fries and plenty of peas on the side.

Beef Martabak was garing, perfectly thick, flaky, and non-greasy too.

Loved the non-greasy everything! made me feel less guilty for eating them all 🤭.

The Mushroom Soup, and Watermelon Juice were also not dissapointing.

This is my favourite bar in Jakarta. Styled in the British Pub theme. I came before opening time, and the staff were happy to serve me, hence no other customers in the photos. Draught beers are icy cold. Menu has been slightly reduced because of Covid yet still broad enough. It will no doubt increase again as tourists return. It is part of the Kristal Hotel. There is no need to enter the hotel as it is a separate building....
