[HOTEL CHECK-IN CHAOS]
The hotel was actually neat and clean, and I commend the bell-boy staff for being friendly, but the receptionist/frontliner was NOT HELPFUL.
Imagine, the check-in time was different from other hotels (we stayed from Saturday, July 6, 2024, to Sunday, July 7, 2024, and the Traveloka voucher stated that check-in could only be done at 3:00 PM, which was fine).
We arrived at the hotel to check in at 3:30 PM, and the ROOM WAS NOT READY. The lobby became very crowded because the hotel was FULL that day. There were already two guests besides me and my family who were also complaining, indicating that the situation was already chaotic. The lobby was as crowded as a pilgrimage queue, and although the hotel management provided complimentary snacks like dim sum and sponge cakes, it didn’t help. I was waiting for a call from the hotel (because when I was handling the check-in administration and was told the room wasn’t ready, I asked when it would be ready, and the frontliner said just wait as they would call).
My family and I waited on the sofa near the restaurant next to the lobby until 4:30 PM without receiving a call. When I checked back at the lobby, it was surprising that it was no longer as crowded as before; some guests who arrived after me were no longer there (possibly because they had gotten their rooms). I waited until 5:00 PM and still didn’t get a call, so I approached the frontliner, and only then was I given the key. I asked why they didn’t call, and they said the room was just released. Strange? Draw your own conclusions.
I didn’t document the situation there because I was in such a bad mood, but fortunately, the comfortable room helped. The next day, I called the receptionist at 11:00 AM, asking what time checkout was. They said noon. I protested because I had only received my room at 5:00 PM the previous day. Only then did they give me the maximum checkout time of 2:00 PM. Never going there again...

Read moreReserved a 2 room 90m2 suite for 2 nights new years Eve for a staycation. Hotel seemed pretty full. The room was ok showing a little bit of its age: kitchen counters made of laminate were buckling. Our 2 TVS were absolute wrecks with the worst images, sounds and screens were scratched as if both TVs had been thrown on the ground. In addition for a 2 bedroom suite, one would expect at least one bathroom to have a bathtub. Only 2 showers. Lastly we waited over 45:minutes to get a porter at checkout and a dolly for the luggage. We finally took all our own luggage ourselves and the front desk wasn't too compassionate or apologetic about it. Could have been more professional. We understand that the hotel probably laid off most of the porters and there's only one guy running around to help for checkout. Overall:. Decent value for the price. (3 juta for 2 nights). Ok rooms, looking a bit old, cleanliness fine, service ok.... 3 stars. The building looks old from...
