I came here with family, a group of 9. Reminiscing the old days, it is one of the legendary seafood place in Jakarta. We ordered our favorite Kepiting Telor with Black Pepper Sauce, Prawn with salted egg sauce, Deep Fried Gurame with soy sauce sauce, Clams with Tauco sauce, Fried egg with oysters, Sauted Pucuk Labu, and Grilled Kuwe/Kue fish.
Black Pepper Crab is delicious, like what is used to be in the past. Lots of egg, and the sauce is just right, peppery but not too spicy. Prawn with salted egg sauce is a must, so good! We ended up order another portion. Now, deep fried Gurame fish with soy sauce is something new, and we love it! The fish was crispy on the outside, pair it with the sauce it created layers of goodness. Grilled Ikan Kue is an absolute must. We asked for extra grill sauce for an extra oomph.

I first came here at the original location more than10 years ago, and they certainly had one of the best crab and seafood around. It is especially famous for the crabs; “kepiting saus padang” and “kepiting lada hitam” are two of its famous dishes. In short, this is Jakarta’s “No Signboard Seafood” restaurant. The price can very well on the higher end. Visited this restaurant again after many years. The crabs dishes do not taste as good as it used to be …?
