It's my first time going to shao kao, and they already gave me a bad experience from the service alone. I never had the chance to look at the menu or taste the food, but safe to say this restaurant will down on my No-Go list.
Waitress was unprofessional. I asked: how many people are on the queuing list? She said: I don't know, around 6-7? Many people are queuing that's for sure. Me: What. After queuing for a long time (around 30 - 1 hour), and at last it's our turn, the guy with a shirt (likely the manager) said that they only can serve food 1-2 hour later and told us to wait and order drink first.
It's 9 PM and I have not eaten anything, queuing a long time, they are getting on my nerve. I bolted out the restaurant, while wishing everyone not to have the same bad experience as I am.

Then, the services quite annoying. One of the waiters keep saying “we’re still preparing ur food”, but the facts its they’re not making it. They keep saying “its full, crowded, etc”. So, pls keep following up ur food.

I manage to order 2 skewers (smocked bacon & pork meat), and got some veggies, fish & soy and other meat in mala soup with kwetiaw. The mala soup has low level of numbness, so I could enjoy the soup very much.
Good place to hang out with friends while enjoying beers & skewers.
