I have to say I'm very disappointed. This is the very first time I experienced a price gouging like it's some sort of a 5 star restaurants. My family consists of 3 people, we eat cincang, ayam pop, tunjang, and gulai ayam and it costs us Rp 275.000! Madness! That's almost the same amount of money I spent on a 4-5 star restaurants! Can you imagine rice costs you Rp 11.000/portion, teh tawar Rp 7000/portion, usually it's free, and now it costs literally the same as Es Teh Manis! They also charged you if you take Sambal Hijau and Vegetables, which is as a person who's a Minang, this is nonsensical because this is a must for a Nasi Rames. For a franchise restaurant like Sederhana this is utter madness, I've ate before at Sederhana Rawamangun and they didn't price you out like this, genuinely disappointed with Sederhana Pinang Ranti, I began to question whether the owner of the Sederhana franchises know about this customer exploitation at Sederhana Pinang Ranti.
Alright next is the service, I think the service here kinda terrible, it's seems all of the staffs here is a newbie, like for real, this is the first time when a server just standing around gazing into the nothingness and didn't service the customers, all of them waiting for the customers to asked the server to service them, there is no initiative by the server to service the customers.
For the food, I think it's quite terrible, it's salty in every single dishes, it's not salty because they repeatedly reheat the food, but it's salty because it's genuinely the chef's decision on the food. Because I can't imagine Sambal Hijau can be so salty because they reheated the Sambal repeatedly.
Tldr, Sederhana used to be a low-medium decently priced Minang food chains restaurant, the number one choice for the customers to get a relatively good Minang food with a relatively good price and also the place for the customers who didn't want to gamble on picking a good minang restaurant while also not getting robbed by the price. Now it isn't like that anymore, genuinely...
