Starbucks — Restaurant in Jakarta

The cashier offered using the Sumatran beans for my Americano. I said yes to it (assuming it was better for the earth since the beans wouldn't have to be imported from far far away such as Ethiophia etc). Didn't know it was for an extra cost as it wasn't written in the price board or anything else. Felt cheated.

The place was packed and ended up taking my cup to go as there were no seatings available.

Burnt the tip of my tongue while drinking my cup as the coffee was served bloody hot. Not blaming them for the last point, it just complemented my sour review.

For a Rp42000 Americano with mediocre taste (obv after burning my tongue, I may not taste it very well), it's still a wonder to me why people are still...

While everyone is giving out 5 stars for the place, the coffee or the brand. I present my 5 stars review for the barista ! Selama pandemic, after Jakarta masuk ke PSBB transisi, I spent most of my time here, almost every day, and thanks to the barista, i feel comfortable, super friendly and humble ! Shoutout to mas Samuel, ci Jesslyn and ci Faustine !! Stay healthy, and see u guys again di lain waktu , thanks for the great hospitality...

This Starbucks likes to cut corners and this has always been the case. This was the case last time I came to this Starbucks. I clearly didn’t ask for less ice but the drink I was given was not full as requested. After I reminded him, the barista started made an excuse and said it was because of the lack of ice.
